He loves you. Can’t talk Him out of it. He adores you. Can’t push Him away from it. Endlessly loves you. Passionately love you. Confidently loves you. No one can inhibit nor restrain His affection for you, His Beloved.
Jesus Christ sacrificed His own life to prove to you He loves you. This love is not up to you to maintain. Only the King who wrote the destiny of humankind can uphold such a perfect and grandiose love exceeding the galaxies. Still, He wants you. He woos you. He captivates you with silent whispers in the nighttime starlight. He inspires you with awe-inspiring sunrises at dawn.
Let Him love you.
His love lavished on you is the only way to discover your deep-rooted love for Him simultaneously. You need His love pursuing you, calling you, searching you and all the days of your life.
“We love because God loved us first.” 1 John 4:19
In Matthew 27, when Jesus died on the cross, the people passing by mocked him for it.
“And saying, “You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross.” Matthew 27:40
Jesus would not be talked out of it. He followed through with His rescue mission for His Bride.
Are you easily talked out of your mission? Don’t be, precious ones.
God’s purpose for you is certain. His love over you is eternal. His commitment to you is faithful.
Jesus was used to people trying to talk Him out of His decisions when His way contradicted their expectations. In Matthew 3, John the Baptist did not want to baptize Jesus when asked to because of Jesus’ holiness outweighing His.
“But John tried to talk him out of it. “I am the one who needs to be baptized by you,” he said, “so why are you coming to me?” But Jesus said, “It should be done, for we must carry out all that God requires.” So John agreed to baptize him.” Matthew 3:14-15
Once John heard Jesus give Him permission to baptize Him, He was willing to obey because He knew Jesus’ way was the highest way.
Trust God when He tells you His mission. His way may seem unusual at times, but His way is the only way to life. Don’t let anyone talk you out of the plan and promise God gave you.
There is never a moment God questions His love for you. His love is undying. His body rose from the grave and He lives forever with undying commitment to make you His. Forever.
Like a rose in the hand of a groom on bended knee, Jesus asks you to be His Bride forever…
When Jesus vows to you in love, He won’t be talked out of loving you with undying, passionate affection. His love lives on forever. His love pursues you forever.
I am reminded of the beauty of Hosea and how God pursues Israel even when they ran away from Him. God did not give up on them, and He did not want to. The pain of His heartbreak over their infidelity did not force Him to send them away but it only pushed Him to pursue them more once His decree of their rebellion was communicated.
“Bring your confessions, and return to the Lord.
Say to him,
“Forgive all our sins and graciously receive us,
so that we may offer you our praises.” Hosea 14:2
God does not overlook Israel’s transgressions to say there is no problem when there is indeed a problem. Rather, He acknowledges the rebellion and urges Israel to return to Him and repent so that He can overlook their transgressions by renewing a right relationship with Him.
Repentance is key.
Jesus gives everyone who turns to Him for forgiveness.
“The Lord says,
“Then I will heal you of your faithlessness;
my love will know no bounds,
for my anger will be gone forever.
I will be to Israel
like a refreshing dew from heaven.
Israel will blossom like the lily;
it will send roots deep into the soil
like the cedars in Lebanon.” Hosea 14:4-5
God’s ideal is for us to have a perfect relationship with Him but this does not mean we have to be perfect. It just means we have to have a humble heart of repentance to come to Him and let Him renew purity.
Jesus loves to love you. He will never let anyone convince Him otherwise. His love is strong enough to handle our humanity. He knows our weaknesses.
God’s love is the strongest love you will ever encounter.
Now that Jesus came to die for the sins of man, we can have a perfect standing with God by His blood shed for us. There is no more blood of animal sacrifices needed for sin and renewal of fellowship. Jesus’ body is the perfect exchange for our entire lives to be given tenure in Jesus’ Kingdom.
You belong to Jesus forever from the moment you call Him Lord and into eternity.
“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.” 1 John 4:18
perfect love
perfect love
hold us in
Your perfect love
like ocean
tides
embraced
under the moon
Jesus’ love
is eternal for you
“So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.”
1 John 4:16
