Peace requires the effort of doing what Jesus instructs. Jesus blesses peacemakers.

“God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭9‬ ‭

You show who you belong to when you work for peace. Jesus’ Kingdom reigns with peace and goodness.

Nothing can take away the peace Jesus gives you.

“I Am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭27‬ ‭

Jesus gives peace and asks you to sustain it. There is no peace without Him.

Focus on Jesus and you always have peace. 

“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”
