Part 1
Jesus’ name heals. Jesus’ name saves. Jesus’ name reigns.
Jesus will never be forgotten. Jesus was, is and always be King.
“Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It read, “Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.” John 19:19
Pilate had the name written in three languages so that everyone could read it.
”Many of the Jews read this inscription, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and it was written in Aramaic, in Latin, and in Greek. So the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, “Do not write, ‘The King of the Jews,’ but rather, ‘This man said, I am King of the Jews.’”
John 19:20-21
The scribes and Pharisees tried to have Jesus’ name as King changed, but Pilate would not change it. He loved what He wrote.
“Pilate answered, “What I have written I have written.” John 19:22
Pilate knew Jesus was truly the Messiah. So, he would not change the inscription of “King.”
“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
Jesus gives you a name that will never be cut off.
God honors your name.
God gives you an inheritance.
Your name will never be forgotten because God writes His own signature on you. God cherishes you as His Beloved.
“I will give in My house and within My walls a monument and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off.“
Isaiah 56:5
