Supernatural wings rise in flight to move the tide with the moon. Angelic creatures stir the atmosphere with dreams of Heaven. Haloed hosts breathe in the heart with light in darkness none can hide. They glow in the dark. Gifts of God’s Spirit come when they touch down on earth.
“And He was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan. And He was with the wild animals, and the angels were ministering to Him.” Mark 1:13
Angels descend from Heaven’s throne room where God sends love to you. Angels bring eternal strength, resources, provision, comfort and truth of God’s goodness.
Jesus experienced the constant care of angels ministering to Him while alone in the wilderness during His 40 day journey of fasting in the wilderness.
God does not leave His beloved to deteriorate. God upholds His beloved.
Angels constantly minister to God’s Beloved. Make Jesus your King and He sends angels orders to minister to you. Your angels give you blessings from God.
”Of the angels He says, “He makes His angels winds, and His ministers a flame of fire.” Hebrews 1:7
Fiery zealous love belongs to God’s Beloved.
Angelic spiritual love belongs to God’s Beloved.
Enduring eternal love belongs to God’s Beloved.
Jesus’ 40 day wilderness experience was planned by God. Every step of His journey was anointed and purposeful. Mark 1:11 highlights God’s delight in the Son, Jesus, and immediately following this ordination, Jesus faces temptation.
”The Spirit immediately drove Him out into the wilderness.“ Mark 1:12
Jesus had to pass through temptation first on the way to His final destination. You strengthen in wisdom and grace when you understand the reality of temptation.
Just like Jesus, The Holy Spirit empowers you to overcome.
God is pleased with the one He sends into temptation. Mark’s gospel makes this clear.
”And when He came up out of the water, immediately He saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending on Him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, “You are My beloved Son; with You I am well pleased.” Mark 1:10-11
God is higher than angels. God is King. Jesus is God.
“He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs. For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son, today I have begotten you”? Or again, “I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son”? Hebrews 1:3-5
“And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.” Of the angels he says, “He makes his angels winds, and his ministers a flame of fire.” But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.” Hebrews 1:6-8
God’s Kingdom has angels. God wants to use angels in His Kingdom because they bring the Holy Spirit of God with them. Jesus is higher than angels and this will not change. Yet, Jesus shows us His love in tangible form on earth through His angels sent to us on earth.
Angels loyal to God love God and they love you. Lucifer hates God’s people and he hates you. This is why Satan will be be overthrown and cast away when Jesus returns. He may have dominion over the sinful earth but He will never have dominion over Heaven.
God made it clear in the beginning that Lucifer would be crushed by the seed of the woman in Genesis 3:15, saying, “he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” The seed of the woman is the son of the lineage born as Messiah: Jesus Christ. The Son of Man. The Son of God.
Therefore, there are two groups of angels in the universe: angels for God and angels opposed to God.
Angels show up throughout the Bible to help God’s people. Angels can show up in your life at any time. When they do, look to the God who sent them. He alone is our Savior, and angels are the fruit of His salvation.
Your angels watch over you.
Your angels invigorate you.
Your angels guard you.
Your angels touch you.
Your angels inspire you.
Your angels move you.
Your angels uplift you.
Your angels strengthen you.
Your angels are sent by God by His own hands of protection, love and blessing. Angels belong to God, and are under His jurisdiction. Many angels fell from Heaven when Lucifer, a mighty arch angel, decided to defy God and hosts of angels followed him. The angels who stayed loyal to God stayed in Heaven on God’s team, and they will never stop being loyal to their mission for you by God’s orders.
His angels are your angels.
angels soar
from Heaven’s doors
in one accord
to rain and pour
God’s love
upon the earth
“For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”
Psalm 91:11
