Set a crown upon His head of silky light intertwined with seraphim surrounding Him. Honor the brilliance of His head astounding cosmic synergy of Zion’s eternity. Revolve around His head that rules the universe with strong, resounding glory.
“Christ, who is the head of His body, the church.” Ephesians 4:15
The head of Heaven is Jesus.
He is the head over all the universe. He is God.
“For in Him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in Him, who is the head of all rule and authority.” Colossians 2:9-10
Lift your head to the head. Lift your eyes to the eyes of Heaven. Lift your soul to the soul of eternity. Lift your spirit to the eternal spirit of God.
“Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.” Psalm 24:7
Let Jesus in.
Jesus is your deliverer.
God reigns with Jesus Christ as the head of Heaven and Earth.
Jesus is the best head.
“Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle!” Psalm 24:8
We know who The King is. It’s Jesus. The King who came to earth to die for humanity’s sins and reconcile a lost world to Him. There is no battle He cannot fight and no war He cannot win. He conquers everything for the ones He loves.
“Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on His head, and a sharp sickle in His hand.” Revelation 14:14
Jesus uses His head. When communicating the most important truths of Heaven, He spoke directly to the people to inform them how God’s Kingdom operates as opposed to the systems of earth. God’s Kingdom surpasses the way of mankind because He is King and He knows the best ways of living. His intellect and wit combined with His compassion and kindness make Him perfect as King. He always knows what to do.
In Matthew 14, the disciples come to Jesus needing His expertise as they are following Him and learning from Him.
“They said to Him, “We have only five loaves here and two fish.” And He said, “Bring them here to Me.” Matthew 14:17-18
The disciples perceived they were in lack because of what they saw visibly, and they were for a short time, but not for long. With Jesus, lack is never lack because He can turn around the situation and produce something. All they needed to do was collaborate with Jesus, whose head knew the solution to the problem. Bring your head to Jesus and He uses His head to impart wisdom into you. We glean wisdom from His wisdom because He understands all things.
The disciples follow Jesus’ advice and start passing out food to everyone in the crowds all because they listened to Jesus.
“And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces left over. And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.” Matthew 14:20-21
Always trust Jesus’ head. Never doubt Him. His ways work. His ways fill you to overflowing so you have more than you need. Jesus wants to empower you with His own strengths.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8
Use your head to communicate. Speak, write, sing, act. God gave you wisdom from Heaven’s treasuries that guide your feet along His paths as you trust in Him.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” James 1:5
God can be trusted with His communication to you. Everything He says is gold.
The universe runs smoothly with Jesus at the head.
“And God put everything under His feet and made Him head over everything for the church.”
Ephesians 1:22
