Supernatural miracles burst beyond the temporal, beyond the surface, beyond the universe we see, where glorious royalty beams glistening. King Jesus has opportunities for you. Opportunities you must seize. He is the God who directs life’s purpose. The God who planned the best way to ascend. The God who sees the end before its beginning. The God who knows all things and orchestrates your life in tandem with His vision.
“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.” Ephesians 2:10
Opportunities beckon from the God of Heaven, unfurling treasures of life. Treasures of purpose. Treasures of love. Don’t miss God’s opportunities right in front of you.
Seize opportunities for good, for adventure, for vitality, for love, rest, for discovery, for enjoyment, for life. God has put gifts in front of you that He wants to give you but you must say yes and take hold of it. Life is too short to pass up the chances from God’s own orchestration. Don’t make Him bring it around twice, three times, four times, before you are willing to seize what God gave you. Seize the opportunity from God.
“Then He said to him, “A certain man gave a great supper and invited many, and sent his servant at supper time to say to those who were invited, ‘Come, for all things are now ready.’ But they all with one accord began to make excuses…” Luke 14:16-18
God gave you the opportunity to be a part of His Kingdom but only the ones who say yes to that opportunity will experience the gift.
Passing up opportunities from God ruins your joy.
Accepting opportunities from God revs up your excitement and vitality.
“So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:10
Act on the wonder of God’s supernatural opportunities, for they may not come back around again. You don’t want to miss the beauty of adventure with God at every turn, taking you on a journey of ecstatic heavenly liveliness.
Opportunities for good are never wasted. Opportunities for good are always right. God is waiting for His Beloved to seize opportunities that He has put in the path.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105
When God speaks, we must be ready and willing to communicate the message and seize every opportunity to do so.
“Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.” 2 Timothy 4:2
Say yes to God regardless of what conflicts may arise. God’s opportunities for you are the best because He sees all things. He sees your life and how all the pieces and seasons fit together, and you must let God steer you in order to reach the destination you wanted all along. If you have been praying for something from God, then saying yes to His opportunities are what will lead to those prayers being answered. God’s ways woo us to follow Him moment-by-moment, day-by-day, hand-in-hand with Him in a personal relationship. God wants to know we are intertwined with Him heart-and-soul.
Walking close with God will lead you into opportunities that are greater than what you could have envisioned.
In John 9, Jesus told the disciples that He must seize every opportunity to do good.
“I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I Am in the world, I Am the light of the world.” John 9:4-5
If Jesus is present, there is work for Him to do. Why? Because he is the one true healer. Therefore, everyone around Him needs Him. For physical healing, salvation, hope, love, internal regeneration, spiritual vitality, you name it… we need Jesus for it.
When Jesus was on Earth, He never passed up an opportunity to heal, teach, love, and minister.
Seize every opportunity for good where you are.
Seize every opportunity where God leads you.
Seize every opportunity to make the most of your time.
Say no to distracting depletions of life. Say no excursions that would taint your purpose. Say no to what God said “say no to.” Say no to everything outside of your destiny. Say yes to everything God destines for you.
The apostle Paul wanted to travel to Rome on many occasions but the Holy Spirit prevented him from doing do because He had other places God wanted Him to be. We must listen to the moment-by-moment leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our steps and we will know where we are supposed to be.
“That is why I have often been hindered from coming to you. But now that there are no further opportunities for me in these regions, and since I have longed for many years to visit you, and after I have enjoyed your company for a while, you can equip me for my journey.” Romans 15:22-24
God-given opportunities are the priority.
“And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19
Jesus gave the disciples an opportunity. They took the opportunity and benefited greatly.
“Immediately they left their nets and followed Him. And going on from there He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and He called them. Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed Him.” Matthew 4:20-22
When God gives you an opportunity will you take it?
Take God’s opportunities and live the life you were designed for.
woo us
pursue us
consume us
with Your love
every chance to know
Your love is more than enough
to live alive and breathing
to fly alight and soaring
