Supernovas burst in a universe of cosmic marvel. Comets arc in outer space laced with wonderment. Fascination of supernatural constitution eclipses all consternation.
“That light shines in the darkness, yet the darkness did not overcome it.” John 1:3
Darkness intrudes upon the light but light stands regardless of the encroachment. Light cannot fizzle nor dwindle nor fade nor be erased. Light is light. Always lit. Endlessly equipped to shine. Once a light is lit it cannot be put out.
“There was a man named John who was sent from God. He came as a witness to testify about the light, so that all might believe through him.” John 1:6-7
God sends people to testify about Jesus’ light and carry His light. You are the light of the world with Jesus in you.
“You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden.” Matthew 5:14
Glow, shine, flame, sparkle, blaze with fire like Jesus’ spirit of fire. God’s light in you lights up a world in need of seeing God. So, God places you in Heaven where your light can shine. Your light shines from Heaven onto a world who seeks its Savior.
Jesus understands the power of your light and the reasonableness of letting it shine. Only one who is defiantly against God and unreasonably obstinate against Heaven would try to hide your light.
“No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house.” Matthew 5:15
The people of God recognize the light of God. The devil sees the light and tries to hide it. But he can’t. God’s light will not be concealed nor stolen. What God anoints you with is permanent.
“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I Am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12
Darkness is not darkness to the One who has light on the inside projecting outward.
“In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in Heaven.” Matthew 5:16
God’s light empowers you for great things. God’s light strengthens you to do miracles.
Those who want to glorify God and love Heaven, love seeing His light manifest in you. Those who do not love the light of God will not want to see the light in you either. Demonic forces hates God’s light but godly forces love God’s light.
Jesus told the people that their light would bring glory to God. This is a fact. Throughout the Bible the light of Jesus in His disciples draws people to salvation. The apostle Paul came to know Jesus when he saw HIs light on the road to Damascus. A literal light. A bright scintillation. A glowing spark. It lit up the day.
Jesus lights up the world.
He is the brightest One. The who gives us light. The One who gives us life. The One who gives us love. The One who gives us eternity. The One who gives us Heaven.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105
The Bible lights up your eyes to see light in darkness and truth in cloudiness. Scripture shows you what is right and steers your direction on the narrow path towards life where Jesus dwells. We want that path. The narrow path. The path towards Heaven. The path of supernatural destiny.
“Go in through the narrow gate. The gate to destruction is wide, and the road that leads there is easy to follow. A lot of people go through that gate. But the gate to life is very narrow. The road that leads there is so hard to follow that only a few people find it.” Matthew 7:13-14
Jesus says that His path is the one that many do not choose. His path is a hard path that requires trust in Him for salvation. There is no other way to Heaven except through Jesus.
“Do all you can to go in by the narrow door! A lot of people will try to get in, but will not be able to.” Luke 13:24
Many try to get into Heaven without Jesus but it cannot be done.
Jesus is the only way to eternal life in Heaven with Him.
When Jesus gives you eternal life, He lights you up to shine like Him as one of His royal, glowing people.
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1
Trust in Jesus, the one who fights with light and strikes the enemy with light. His light is the force of victory, waging war for you in the heavenly places.
Jesus is always shining His light for you. Jesus is always shining His light through you.
Your light never goes out.
Jesus’ power never goes out.
Jesus uses everything for good for the ones who believe in Him.
“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”
John 3:36
