Part 3

Jesus hails Mary. God favors Mary. God loves women. God utilizes His people for powerful works.

“And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for He has looked on the humble estate of His servant. For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed.” Luke 1:46-48

Jesus hails Mary. The one He chose to host His own baby body on earth. Jesus honors His mother.

Jesus hailed Mary Magdalene. The one who came to Him giving all her love with reckless abandon. Jesus honors His lover.

“Mary therefore took a pound of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume… Jesus said, “Leave her alone, so that she may keep it for the day of my burial. For the poor you always have with you, but you do not always have Me.”

Jesus hails Mary again. The one who others sought to stone but Jesus sought to enthrone in His Kingdom. Jesus takes responsibility for her. Jesus honors His commitment to atone for sins.

“Jesus stood up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.” John‬ ‭8‬:‭10-11

Jesus’ favor covers you. Jesus takes His time for a Hail Mary so that He can send a miracle that makes everybody gasp in awe.

“And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God.” Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭35‬ ‭

God cherishes and honors His people.

God loves Mary which is why He chooses her to be His mother on earth.

“For He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is His name. And His mercy is for those who fear Him from generation to generation.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭1‬:‭49‬-‭50‬ ‭

Be confident in how God anoints you with favor. You are His cherished, chosen treasure.
