God is not a poor man
He is a rich God
clothes of velvet
crowns of gold
fields of zealot
spirits bold
thrones arrayed
in royal praise
announce His glory
Jesus reigns
waves of inhabitants
pave His landscape
with glory extravagant
God is not an unstable man
He is a secure God
like a rock
unjilted
unfettered
unrivaled
fully lathered
in outpourings
of anointing
never shattered
by recordings
of His universe
appointing
day and night
He owns the light
reflects the light
refracts the light
commands the light
to heat the earth
with infrared
dispersed
God is not a bad man
He is a good God
polishing the jaws
of aqua seaspans
jungle tarzans
makes a game plan
for the walkmans
speaking grease
over the treatise
peace will season
God saves what Satan ruins
In His hands are mighty bruins
God is not a weak man
He is a strong God
lifts planets
spins granite
sings ballads
tears talons
from the gamut
of His rhythmic
metaphysics
His forensics
can’t be proven
without His Spirit
muscled by Heaven
God’s senses flow from Heaven
encased in passion
laced with love
embraced by infinite
light He rules from above
pummeling volcanoes
halting torpedoes
whirling through tornadoes
lifting off Barbados
God’s essence flows from all He knows
God is a magnificent God
An enchanting God
A desirable God
A royal God
The God of Heavenly riches
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Matthew 6:19-21
