God Goes With You

Jesus’ ideas take you higher because He speaks the truth of Heaven. His words arouse your interest, pique your senses, awaken your wishes to know Him more, see Him more, hear Him more, love Him more. Honeysuckle lace around the apple trees and diamond springs with aromatic angel wings orating praises to Jesus The King.

“But,” he said, “you cannot see my face, for man shall not see Me and live.” And the Lord said, “Behold, there is a place by me where you shall stand on the rock, and while my glory passes by I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and I will cover you with my hand until I have passed by.” Exodus 33:20-22

God cannot show you His fullness without you passing out. He has to take it slow. He lets you see His glory first. Then He shows you His face.

God’s rock is enough to take you higher. Ascend to bliss from God’s presence taking you higher into extravagant union of angelic communion. Ascend to Heaven from God’s imperial friendship intertwining you in companionship of aerial passionate loving supremacy.

“And He said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:14

Your spirit rests with God’s presence lifting you to where He is.

“And he said to Him, “If Your presence will not go with me, do not bring us up from here.” Exodus 33:15

You want to go up when God is with you. You want to go to the next level when Jesus walks you there hand-in-hand, propelling you forward, bending low to pick you up to raise you up. Without Jesus’ presence, Heaven possesses no allure. With God, elevation always happens.

“For how shall it be known that I have found favor in Your sight, I and Your people? Is it not in Your going with us, so that we are distinct, I and Your people, from every other people on the face of the earth?” Exodus 33:16

God faces you with loving eyes. He desires to go with you where He is going, to take you to the place you truly belong with Him in eternity.

“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself.” John 14:3

God is even more glorious in person. Heaven radiates from His identity as King of Zion’s populace. His strong arms build a dwelling place for you and Him, there in eternity’s permanence where infinity resonates forever in the wavelengths of truth and goodness.

Jesus’ face is the romance of fate

“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalm 18:2

The rock of His salvation takes you into the heights of Kingdom satisfaction.

“Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; but I will not go up among you, lest I consume you on the way, for you are a stiff-necked people.” Exodus 33:3

God foresaw the stubbornness of Israel en route to the Promised Land, so He promised to consume them first with His glory and presence so that they would not want to be without Him. Let God consume you with fullness. Let God enrapture you with passionate zeal. God demands to be the first place in your life and there will be no other God but Him.

Moses implores God to stay with them forever and this pleases God, so He hides Moses in the cleft of the rock in Exodus 33:21 and passes by so that Moses can see God’s radiance passing by. Once Moses got to Heaven He saw God’s face in eternity.

Jesus’ resurrected form is so radiant, the disciples did not recognize Him at first when He showed up to them after being raised to life from the tomb. They were used to seeing the earthly form of Jesus that carried both man and God, but Christ’s resurrected form carries the divinity of His true nature. The perfect foundation of the universe and all its life. Jesus satisfies.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

John 1:1
