Sound the gong for the Most High God. Lift your voice to the One who reigns supreme. Move your feet. Speak the Name. The Name of Jesus.
“I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of Your Name, O Most High.” Psalm 9:2
Jesus is the highest One of all. The truest One of all. The firstborn of all creation. The One who was on the throne before there was any earth and sky and sea.
“The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in Him all things were created: things in Heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together… so that in everything He would have the supremacy.” Colossians 1:15-18
God has always existed.
“In the beginning, God…” Genesis 1:1
God was there before we ever came to be.
God was there before creation was established.
God has always been God.
God has always existed and He always will exist.
God is the author of life itself.
God approves of you because He wrote your story Himself. Worship Him with every part of your life and heart.
“My lips will shout for joy, when I sing praises to you; my soul also, which you have redeemed.” Psalm 71:23
Your words give worship to Jesus. Your decisions give worship to Jesus. Your heart gives worship to Jesus. Your life brings worship to the King and Lord of all. He is our highest love.
Worship the Lord with overflowing gladness.
Your song inspires legions of angels to bow before His feet. Your worship entreats the seas to rise with reverence of the King of all creation. Your heart of love reminds the earth who we are rooted in and tethered to: Jesus Christ.
“So that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. Philippians 2:10
Soak in the name of Jesus. Let your melody enchant the stars to sparkle for Him.
“I will praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, O my God; I will sing praises to you with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel.” Psalm 71:22
When you minister for the Lord, use every resource to worship Him… the Holy One of Israel.
“My lips will shout for joy, when I sing praises to you; my soul also, which you have redeemed.” Psalm 71:23
Your soul sings as a result of the indwelling spirit of His love already given to you. Let Him give you His love and delight. Receive His love when you echo His name like a sonnet. His affection overflows for you, His precious people.
“And my tongue will talk of your righteous help all the day long…” Psalm 71:24
Jesus is the One who reigns victorious over the earth and over the flood.
When Noah heard and spoke of the waters coming to rain over the earth, He prepared for it… because He knew the One who foretold what was coming. He revered Yahweh as God. The surrounding villages gawked at the spectacle of water falling from the sky as if it was an impossibility. But the rain fell.
“And Noah did all that the Lord commanded him. Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came upon the earth.” Genesis 6:6
Noah obeyed the Lord and still had to wait. Be encouraged… waiting is a part of your faith’s uprising. God is strengthening your faith. Let Him be God.
“God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19
Your rain is coming.
Your provision is coming.
Your blessing is coming.
Your miracle is coming.
God did not lie. God said He would do it. He is King. He can accomplish anything He promises. Believing in a God who cannot do miracles is heresy. He is God and He will not be limited in His power. Miracles flow from His power in His timing.
God can make rain in a cloudless sky. God can send water from a barren desert. God can send the snowy storms to infiltrate the cosmos and back down to earth again if He wanted. He reigns supreme over the earth.
The Bible says, “In the beginning, God…” Genesis 1:1
God was there in the beginning.
God was there before we ever came to be.
God was there before creation was established.
God has always been God.
God has always existed and He always will exist.
God is the author of life itself.
“And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds – livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so.” Genesis 1:24
When He comes again, He will make us like Him. Immortal. Holy. Glorious.
Jesus’ love is our salvation, given forgiveness from every sin.
“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not count His sin.” Romans 4:7-8
We are blessed because Jesus gives us grace and mercy that fuels our love relationship with Him.
Love comes from His generous love for us.
I love You, Lord
because You won me
because You cleansed me
because You held me
when no one else could
You will always be
my love
Jesus is the One love every human heart needs.
Jesus can cancel sin because He has the right to do so. No one else has that right. No one else can turn a sinful human into a holy being to dwell with God. Jesus died in order to die in our place and His life was pure and sinless. Thus, his sacrifice was enough to cover the sins of the world. We need Jesus’ blood in order to do save us.
Jesus reigns supreme. Jesus reigns as King. Jesus reigns as Lord. Worship the One who is the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end. The One true God. Jehovah Jireh. Jehovah Raphah. He is the God of all creation and the God who comes close to you to dwell with you.
Worship Him with your love. Worship Him with your hands. Worship Him with your feet. Worship Him forever. Worship Him in love. Worship Him in everything you have to give. Worship Him for He is good.
“God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:4
Be true to your spirit. Worship the Lord whom your spirit loves.
Sound the gong of His Lordship! Let the symphonies of Heaven ring with resounding orchestras of His reign.
“And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!”
Isaiah 6:3
