Part 1 of 2.

Joy finds you when you get your hopes up. God loves you too much for you to live hopeless. The Holy Spirit gives you immediate excitement and happiness when you decide to hope in the Lord.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

The Lord is heartbroken when we refuse to hope in Him. He wants us to trust Him and His love. In the book of Hosea, God expounds upon His heartbreak over Israel running to other gods, and His subsequent compassion amidst His anguish

“How can I give you up, O Ephraim? How can I hand you over, O Israel? My heart recoils within Me; My compassion grows warm and tender.” Hosea 11:8

God cannot help it but to love His people even when they turn from Him. God promises He will provide for His people if they return to Him.
“His beauty shall be like the olive, and his fragrance like Lebanon. They shall return and dwell beneath My shadow.” Hosea 14:7

Hope in the Lord, for He is the only true God who can give fulfill your hopes. Your fruit comes from Him.

“O Ephraim, what have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like an evergreen cypress; from Me comes your fruit.” Hosea 14:8
