Love The Blood

Never Wash27

Jesus’ blood is on you. All over you. Gushing. Surging. Flowing from the place where hands of death struck life. Don’t wash it off.

Pilate, the Roman governor of Judaea, had Jesus’ blood on his hands as the Jews sought to send up the hill to be crucified.

“What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Pilate asked. They all answered, “Crucify Him!” Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27‬:‭22‬ ‭

Pilate’s wife advised him not to touch Jesus. She knew He was the true Messiah and innocent.

“While Pilate was sitting on the judge’s seat, his wife sent him this message: “Don’t have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27‬:‭19‬

Do you believe Jesus’ dreams? Pilate listens.

“He took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27‬:‭23‬-‭24‬ ‭

Pilate washed his hands to signify that he did not want to have anything to do with Jesus’ death. Little did He know, he would never be able to wash off the blood of handing over Jesus to be murdered.

Pilate needed to keep Jesus’ blood on His hands.

It’s only by the blood of Jesus that we are forgiven and healed.

You need the blood.

Don’t wash it off.

“How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?“ Hebrews 9:14

Do you need healing? Mercy? Peace in your heart?

Rush into Jesus’ presence where the blood flows. His bloods coats you to cleanse you.

Love the blood. Taste the blood. Claim the blood. Wear the blood.

Give Jesus gratitude today for the blood He shed to save you.

“The Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.“ 1 John 5:8
