Radiant Mirror

Radiant Mirror9

Look in the mirror. What do you see?

“For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭12‬ ‭

There is so much more yet to discover with Jesus! To see with Jesus! To know with Jesus! Look upon His face and inquire of His love for you.

Reflect on Me, says the Lord. Reflect on who I Am to you. I have always been your God. I will always be your sustainer. My light radiates onto you from our closeness to one another. Let My ecstatic love lift your joy to Heaven where I Am. I love when you think about Me. Look up and see Me in you.

One day you will see the light of Jesus’ glory… face to face.

“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭18‬ ‭

Unveil your face. Lift your gaze. Open your eyes. Behold His glory. See Jesus shining in you, through you, with you, and for you.

Now we see His glory in us by His indwelling Spirit. But it’s only a glimpse of the engrained glory yet to be revealed when the Bride of Christ is joined the Lord forever. Endless love and light awaits us. Do what you hear the Lord say from His heart, His Word and His Spirit.

“For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like.” ‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭23‬-‭24

Do the word of God. Then you will remember what you look like and who you are: Jesus’ own Beloved.

The strength of Jesus radiates on your face.

The smile of Jesus radiates on your face.

The light of Jesus radiates on your face.

Don’t forget what you look like.

“So God created man in His image, in the image of God he created him; male and female He created them.” Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭27‬

Jesus glows on you if you would see Him when you look at you. He’s in your heart. With Jesus on you, you look radiant.

“Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love.” Psalm 31:6

  1. Wow! Such great words and perspective. I have always struggled with understanding 1 Corinthians 13:12, likely because I was always focused on my own reflection rather than Christ in me.
    Thank you.
