PART 4

Jesus loves your emotions. Those who live alive and vibrant carry emotions made by God and His own image.

Mary knew Jesus passionately so she expresses her feelings passionately when Jesus fails to show up on time.

“Now when Mary came to where Jesus was and saw Him, she fell at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come with her also weeping, He was deeply moved in His spirit and greatly troubled.”John‬ ‭11‬:‭32-33

Jesus receives Mary’s frustration and weeps with her because He knew what His miracle would put her through. Her expressions compelled Jesus to match her emotions. Jesus is deeply moved because of it. He weeps with her.

“Jesus wept.” John 11:35

There is a difference between emotions turning to joy and dancing because of taking them to Jesus, and emotions staying in anger and negativity because of a lack of trust in God.

“A hot-tempered man stirs up strife, but he who is slow to anger quiets contention.” Proverbs‬ ‭15‬:‭18‬

God says do not worry about anything. Trust Him.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬ ‭
