Part 4

God promises to take care of His people and He follows through on this promise. Every word of God is trustworthy.

In 2 Kings 4, the prophet Elisha follows through in taking care of a widow with two sons.

“And Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me; what have you in the house?” And she said, “Your servant has nothing in the house except a jar of oil.”
‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬ ‭

When you see God follows through on His promises, you follow through.

The woman and her sons have nothing left except a jar of oil. But she listens to Elisha follow through on His instructions. This jar of oil provokes a miracle.

Your oil is your miracle. Your oil is your anointing.

No one can take away your anointing. ✨

Oil was used for anointing the house of God. Once Elisha asks her to fill jars with oil, she finds she has enough to pay her debts and then some.

“Then you shall take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and consecrate it and all its furniture, so that it may become holy.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭40‬:‭9‬ ‭

Jesus is in you and His anointing is in you.

Jesus followed through in dying for mankind. He will follow through on returning for us a second time to begin New Heaven and earth.

“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” 2 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭9
