Bring Healing – Poem Part 2

cherished ones
see how
the Lord has won
hear how
the King’s own son
now wars with
valiant courage
truest virtue
purest honor
loving arms
in burning fire
nothing stops
Him from your heart

He shows us what valor is

He bolts through terror
jumps through danger

He reaches for you
He teaches through you
and He won’t tell you
only what
you want
to hear
He tells you
what you need to hear
to flourish
effectively

The Lord loves you
oh so deeply how He loves you

listen to how the Lord leads

Jesus triumphs
for His people
for His sheepfold
for His soldiers
clears the room
when the enemy
come through the doors
with weaponry
loaded
at you

Jesus won’t stop
until the threat
is removed
Jesus protects you

He guards you
uplifts you
anoints you
with truth

He rebirths whosoever
will believe in Him

Jesus spends time
with the one He loves
focuses on the details
of the one He loves
bestows His values
on the one He loves
as an extension
of His own character

Jesus is the ultimate leader

He doesn’t lock you
in a safe
to keep you safe
He paves the way
cloaks you with grace
to fight
your giants
face to face
rise from the grave
nothing defeats you

resurrect earthen environments

march and be brave
in His holy place

bring healing to every space

“The Lord will go forth like a warrior,
He will arouse His zeal like a man of war.
He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry.
He will prevail against His enemies.” Isaiah 42:13

“You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38
