Jesus stands by you with strength and power. Mercy and protection. Stand strong in Him. Stand strong in who God made you.
Jesus redeems the one who turns to Him.
In John 8, Jesus protects a woman in the middle of temple whom the Pharisees bring to Jesus go test him.
“The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst they said to him, “Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. Now in the Law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?” This they said to test Him.”
Jesus sees. He knows what she did. But He also knows what they did. So He writes His response in the sand and stands up. They retreat.
“But when they heard it, they went away one by one, beginning with the older ones, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him.”
Notice the woman is still standing.
Now she is without flaw, standing strong next to her redeemer without condemnation.
“Jesus stood up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”
Stand strong in your deliverance.
