Part 5

God wants you to gain victory over sexual sin. Sexuality by God’s design is meant to bless your life.

We need to know what God’s Word says about sexuality so we can live from a victorious mindset and body, that is not overcome by temptation.

“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭12‬ ‭

Being honest about sexuality invites the Holy Spirit to speak His truth into our hearts.

Everyone must bring their hearts before the Lord to understand what God says about sexuality. For Paul, when temptations of the flesh arose, he ran to Jesus and heard from Him.

“Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭8-9

God pours grace on you in your temptation. Focus on Jesus and we find sexual temptation loses power and we gain power in the Spirit.

We don’t need a list of “don’ts” we need a list of “do’s.” Focus on what you can do through Jesus.

Do cultivate fruits of the spirit.🍓

Do cling to scripture for overcoming matters of human weaknesses.📖

Do seek Jesus! 💞 He is our answer for life and godliness. He understands your needs and He understands the human body. Let Jesus be your guide instead of the world.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬-‭24
