You knock it out of the park when Jesus is with you. You reach the highest goal when Jesus is with you. You ascend the highest peaks when Jesus is with you. Jesus qualifies you. Jesus notices you and likes what He sees when He peers into the depths of your being. He saw it the moment you came into the world ready for life. He knew before time began that you were a son and daughter He wanted right beside Him forever in His Kingdom.
Jesus’ gift of eternal life transforms you. Jesus’ love qualifies you. He anoints those He loves. He affirms those He loves. He approves of those He loves. This confirmation can never be taken away. Jesus says… you are the one I choose.
When Jesus invites you into His Kingdom, He empowers you with a gifting from the Holy Spirit, specifically to you. He designs you from birth with this gifting in mind, knowing you will step into it. God makes the choice in how He empowers each person.
“All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as He wills.” 1 Corinthians 12:11
God says… I know who you are and everything about you. I want you even so.
The Holy Spirit empowers you with supernatural insight.
“No one can say “Jesus is Lord” except in the Holy Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:3
When you realize Jesus is Lord, know that you have the Holy Spirit inside of you. The same Holy Spirit that confesses Jesus is the same Holy Spirit that will lead you in every decision. So don’t quench the Holy Spirit and do not disobey His leading. He gives you the opportunity to know what Jesus would choose to do in that moment. Listen to the Holy Spirit whom you employed to say Jesus is Lord. The Holy Spirit is your breakthrough.
You were made for the Kingdom of God.
Go forward with Jesus.
Jesus chooses those who follow Him wholeheartedly.
“Come, follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” Matthew 4:19
Jesus told the disciples they had a job to do once they followed Him. They were used to working. So they said yes. They were open hearted. So they said yes. They wanted the Messiah. So they said yes. Hearts prepared for relationship with God know they want Him the first time they meet Him.
“At once they left their nets and followed Him.” Matthew 4:20
They did not think about their choice. They did not overthink. They did not sleep on it. They immediately “left their nets” to follow Jesus whom they had never met. Yet, there was something about Jesus that made them feel they were known and cherished more than anybody had ever made them feel.
Jesus could speak into the disciples lives because they chose to follow someone whom they wanted to learn from and join with. From then on out, they were with Jesus everywhere He went. Doing what He did. Healing whom He healed. Proclaiming hope that had never been given this way before. The new covenant of the Kingdom of God was made available through Jesus and and He needed others with Him to execute this mission.
“Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.” Matthew 4:23
Jesus chose disciples whom He could train from a pure mindset. They were not tainted by the religion of the Pharisees. So Jesus chose them. This does not mean that Jesus rejected a person if they were a Pharisee or a religious learner. It means that the religious learners were largely opposed to Jesus because of His power in the Holy Spirit, so Jesus could not teach them anything.
Jesus is our teacher. We learn everything we know from Him.
Jesus qualifies you alone.
Every qualification you need can only come from the One who sees what skills you will need, because only He can give you what you need and design you how you need to be designed to accomplish your mission. God is the Maker of Heaven and earth, and all people.
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2
God alone sets the standards.
If someone attempts to assert their own standards over God’s, then they have interfered with God’s blueprint. God will not let anybody interfere with His blueprint. He knows exactly what He needs done and when.
“Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her!” Luke 1:45
We interfere with God when we lack belief.
Believe in the Lord and you receive from Him.
Jesus qualifies you for the purpose He orchestrated for you by His own hands. Be confident in the life you have lived up unto this point because it is exactly what God intended to bring you into where you are going. Your experiences, your history, your story, your knowledge, your wisdom, and everything that has taken place in your life prepares you for the Kingdom of God.
