Vivify your hope. Amplify your vision. Clarify your perception. Raise your expectations. Eschatological hope is the future hope we have in Jesus’ return. Your life is meant to revolve around this foundation.
Jesus is coming on the clouds again one day to whisk us away to Heaven.
He wants us to posture our hearts towards Him, ever joyful in this hope for eternal life with Him.
In Matthew 24, Jesus prophesies about His return so that the disciples will know what to look for.
“He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of Heaven to the other. “From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see all these things, you know that He is near, at the very gates.” Matthew 24:31-33
Jesus come and carry us away with You.
The disciples would go on to preach about Jesus’ salvation everyday because of this hope for Jesus’ return tomorrow.
Today carries purpose because Jesus promised eternal life to us.
Today carries meaning because Jesus propelled us into His mission for calling hearts to Him.
Today carries joy because Jesus prophesied the beginning of eternity to unfold when we least expect it.
Tomorrow’s blessings flow from today’s dedication. What you do today impacts what can manifest in your future as you partner with the Lord.
Your destiny needs you to be faithful today. Your dreams need you to be hopeful today.
If you want to see the vision come to pass, obey the Lord today. Seek His heart today. Go through the fire today, so that you will come out unscathed and only stronger in your faith so you can accomplish what God equipped you to do for Him tomorrow.
“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Revelation 22:12-13
We find peace and contentment for today when we understand the hope God promised us for tomorrow.
“For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.” 1 Timothy 4:10
Stay expectant.
Embrace contentment that comes with knowing Jesus will return when the time is right.
“For “as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” Matthew 24:27
Jesus knows how to make the snowflakes touch down on grassy meadows in months to come. He knows how to make the summer solstice illuminate the sun as it rises in the north, before it ever happens, because He is on the throne. He is on duty 365/24/7 reigning over all.
Live everyday with vibrant purpose, knowing our home is in Heaven with Jesus. He created us to be loved by Him and lavish love upon Him. The Lord deserves our highest love everyday. Choose to dedicate your days to the Lord and your future to the Lord. Then both are covered under the providential hand of His rule as King of the universe.
Jesus knows the future and the past. He knows the present and the paths our feet should take as we journey with Him in life for His delight. Keep eternity in mind and then the focuses of today carry meaning.
Your life is comprised of a past, present, and future, and the Lord’s presence saturates all of it. You cannot ignore the many seasons God meant to comprise your life. You must live with eternity in mind.
We prepare for tomorrow by being faithful today.
We make room for tomorrow by enjoying God today.
God has a word for you today. Enjoy His presence and then the weight of tomorrow does not affect you.

“And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance of hope until the end.” Hebrew 6:11
