Ignite my heart with love. Every minute. Every second. Every hour I need to feel it striking chords and writing notes of symphonies from Your waterfalls. Devour the darkness and transmit Your light for all to see. Demolish strongholds and rain down on us with Your heart and soul. You are the words of life. You are the well that never runs dry. You are the One who takes us higher at every octave of the symphonies of your Spirit.

Love bursts to life from Jesus’ power. He guides the steps of man with His hands, based on His divine blueprint for the world He created in the beginning.

In Genesis, 1 we learn about Heaven and Earth’s creation in the hands of God. We see the steps God takes to sculpt life from nothing and speak forth His Spirit onto His creation that He chose to make. This story was His own story. Our story exists because He first gave us breath inside our lungs to speak His words.

Jesus ignites our life. Jesus ignites our love.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1

Heavens and the earth. God created both. He needed both. He planned for both to exist in His grand narrative for our eternal destiny.

God uses both good and evil in the redemption story of humanity, for nothing is outside of His control. He reigns over everything, in order to bring about the culmination of eternal New Heaven where we exist in a place where only good and perfect life dwells because Jesus covers all our sin and gives us eternal life from His love.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made.” John 1:1-3

Everything we create sparks to life because of Jesus’ love in us.

The world came to being through the hands of Jesus. He existed in the beginning. The light of Jesus lasts forever because His love sustains the light that beams.

“In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:4-5

Remember the light of God emits from within you. He shines in you no matter where you go. He is your light and your life forever.

When God created the world, He brought light to the waters from His Holy Spirit.

“The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.” Genesis 1:2

The Holy Spirit came close to the space above the face of the deep to emit light and awaken its splendor. When the Holy Spirit moves, everything encounters the reverberation of its wave. It affects every living thing in its wake, from the depths of the ocean to the heights of the stars.

God created the world with a simple command: let there be…

“Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.” And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.” Genesis 1:3-4

God calls living things into being.

He calls you into being.

Flash! Light beamed from the breath of God. Technicolor radiance inhabited the space where darkness used to dwell, all because God decided to awaken light. He puts us in places where He wants our light to shine.

The Hebrew word for light is “owr,” which means to be or become light. To become light, we must be lit by Jesus. He is the igniter of life. Life only comes from love.

Jesus’ love illuminates you.

You become light because He loves you and you glow with love.

Your love makes you glow with scintillation. Awaken the ultra-violet rays of your being from the glorious face of God shining on the earth.

Light stays bright forever. It never loses its luminosity. Shine everywhere you go and dance with the arms of God upholding you.
