He writes His love in blood. Pure blood. Red blood. Fresh blood. The blood of Zion’s King spilled out for all the world to see how much He gave to pull us close to Him. Jesus wants us close to Him forever.
Jesus died with blood flowing from His holy essence. Jesu came to life again, establishing a new covenant of relationship with anyone wants to be made whole by His love. He is King. He is the only way to salvation. When you give your life to Jesus, He claims you forever through a covenant of His eternal love to you.

“Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21
Jesus’ covenant of eternal love remains sealed in blood. Purchased in blood. Written in blood.
In Exodus 12, blood represents the mark of God’s people protected from death when a plague enters the land from God.
“The blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.” Exodus 12:13
God protects us by pure blood. Pure blood denotes the sacrifice given in exchange for wrongdoings.
Jesus’ blood is pure, perfect blood.
Jesus’ blood type matches every heart.
His blood is the solution. His blood is eternal life.
Jesus’ blood is strong enough to save you and everything you have ever committed against Him. Jesus’ blood is strong enough to love you forever.
God’s love is written with the blood of Jesus. So it will never be erased. His blood is the most beautiful ink the world will ever know.
Love the blood.
“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace.” Ephesians 1:7

Jesus’ blood is the antidote to Earth’s contagion: sin. Evil polluted the perfect garden of Eden. Only pure blood can wash the evil away. We need Jesus to wash away the sin of this world so that we don’t have to live in it anymore. One day, we will live in Heaven where there is no more pain nor evil.
When God protected the Israelites in Exodus 12, He commanded them to remember that day and celebrate it from then on. This day is called Passover, because God passed over their doors and did not bring evil and death upon them but He saved them from the hand of Pharaoh.
“This day shall be for you a memorial day, and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord; throughout your generations, as a statute forever, you shall keep it as a feast.” Exodus 12:14
The Passover feast is still celebrated to this day, all because of the blood of innocent life shed for the saving of God’s people.
Innocent blood saves us.
Jesus’ blood is the only innocent blood.
When Pharaoh sees the devastation of death from the plague, He finally relents and lets God’s people go from Egyptian slavery. He summons Moses and tells them all to leave.
“And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he and all his servants and all the Egyptians. And there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where someone was not dead. Then he summoned Moses and Aaron by night and said, “Up, go out from among my people, both you and the people of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as you have said. Take your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and be gone, and bless me also!” Exodus 12:30-32
God could have chosen anything to mark the door posts of His people when He passed over their houses. He did not want to harm. But He chose blood. Why did He choose blood? Blood foreshadowed His own blood sacrificed on the cross for the sins of mankind.
Only the blood of Jesus saves.
Jesus’ love is shown in His blood.
