Part 3

Jesus deserves all the glory due His name. Exalt Him. Worship Him. Love Him.

“Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness.” 
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭29‬:‭2‬ ‭

Exalting God brings peace to our hearts because it lifts our eyes off things of earth and focuses us on His beauty. 

“The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord is enthroned as King forever. The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with peace.”
‭‭Psalm 29‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭

Strength arises from worshipping God. Strength indwells us from honoring the King.
Strength exudes from a heart who ascribes glory to God.

Focus on God, not the rule book. We cannot follow the law on our own perfectly. We need Jesus for that. As we focus on God we fall more and more in love with God, and this love enflames our spirits with passion. This cultivates fruits of the spirit.

“For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And He condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” 💞

God did it all. God reconciled mankind to Himself through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice. He welcomes us into relationship with Him when we trust Jesus as our God and Savior. He deserves glory and praise.
