Part 2

Shout your battle cry. Lift up the sound of victory. Jesus’ name is the battle cry winning every war for He is the King of glory.

What motivates your battle cry? Who you listen to determines your battle cry. Listen to God and you shout in His name.

“And David rose early in the morning and left the sheep with a keeper and took the provisions and went, as Jesse had commanded him. And he came to the encampment as the host was going out to the battle line, shouting the war cry.”
‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭17‬:‭20‬ ‭

Israel shouted their battle cry against Goliath but they would not face Goliath. That is, until David showed up.

David stepped up to fight Goliath with a new battle cry that trusted wholeheartedly in the power of God to give him victory.

“David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.”
‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭17‬:‭45‬ ‭

When David fights Goliath, he shouts a battle cry of honor to the Lord who fights for him. Then he defeats Goliath.

When you act in the name of the Lord, you wage war with supernatural strength.

God fights for you because He loves you.

Jesus will return one day with a battle cry of victory and triumph as He ushers us up into Heaven with Him forever.
