Time rests in His hands. He reigns over it. Rules over it. Runs it. Time exists because He sparked it to begin. God is King over time. He values time. He makes the most of every minute and does not waste one moment in the chronology of history’s unfolding. The future arrives exactly when it is supposed to arrive.
Time is a precious commodity we cannot waste.
“So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.” Psalm 90:12
Value your time and no one can take it from you.
Use your time to glorify God every day of your life, and see glorious, miraculous, life-changing wonders happen when you believe. Time is given to us by God to use for His glory and our enjoyment.
“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under Heaven.” Ephesians 3:1
Jesus values the time He gave us as we wait for Him.
“You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.” Matthew 24:44
Readiness is important to God.
Jesus wants you to make the most of your time and be ready for His return.
“Making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:16
Every moment is a moment that can be utilized for good.
God always acts at the right time.
“God has now revealed to us His mysterious will regarding Christ—which is to fulfill His own good plan. And this is the plan: At the right time He will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in Heaven and on earth.” Ephesians 1:9-10
Use your time. Don’t waste your time.
We cannot afford to waste time involved in anything opposed to God’s love.
We cannot afford to waste time regretting the past.
We cannot afford to waste time discounting our talent.
We cannot afford to waste time avoiding our purpose.
We cannot afford to waste time staying complacent.
Anything that deprives you of joy, motivation, meaning, excitement, peace, and hope is something you need to remove from your life. You cannot waste time living with negative distractions in your life.
Jesus made the most of His time on earth.
Jesus knew what needed to be done each day and how to get it done. He knew there would be obstacles and threats along the way as we read in the gospel narratives, but He did not allow that to stop Him from achieving His goal of ministering to people. He accomplished every goal by using the time He had.
God knows how to use time to His advantage and our good. He is outside of time, and thus, He can do all things.
“But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” 2 Peter 3:8
God can speed up time or slow down time however He wishes. He exists outside of time and can step into time whenever He wants to.
God has power over time.
time is in Your hands
life is in Your hands
all of Heaven stands
to give You glory
for the grand
enthralling story
that You write for us
our God is always
on time for us
