Grateful

Celebrate the beauty of the Lord’s creation. Relax in the serenity of His majesty. Breathe in and breathe out in the wonder of eternity awaiting you. Jesus wants us to live grateful in His presence. Thankfulness eases the heart like a cloud of heavy rain releasing into rain. Gratitude uplifts the soul like a star soaring high into the sky to light up your night with bliss.

Gratitude is good for the heart.

“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Gratitude fills your heart with passion for the One who made life and all its beauty. Jesus is His name. God is who He is.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever.” Psalm 136:1

The Lord’s love endures endlessly and He wants you to experience this kind of love through eternal life and eternal gratitude of His goodness. Gratitude belongs to Jesus. We thank Him all day and all night for all He does.

“We always thank God for all of you and pray for you constantly.” 1 Thessalonians 1:2

Thank God for all of the people He blesses you with and how He uses you to bless others.

Thank God for all the unexpected surprises He gives you.

Thank God for how He sustains the universe by the power His sovereignty.

“Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words!” 2 Corinthians 9:15

Sometimes God leaves us speechless in His presence. All we want to do is bask in the glory of His awe-inspiring divinity. Other times God opens our mouths to spill out our love for Him like He deserves. Angels and seraphim circle God’s throne to sing His praises 24/7/365. We, too, join in the jubilation to praise the King who loves our song of love to Him.

Your song moves the heart of God.

“And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” Revelation 5:13

“Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping Him with holy fear and awe.” Hebrews 12:28

Worship magnifies our awe of the Lord. Jesus’ presence reminds us of His greatness. He deserves all worship. Bring Jesus the gift of your melody unto Him.

When life does not manifest the way we thought, we choose to be thankful for what God has already done. We know God has more to do. So we wait with hope and thankfulness, knowing that God is worth our love no matter what is happening in our lives. We want to hope in Him as our God in every season.
