Run With God

Mustangs race across the barley-frescoed meadows. Stallions bolt to join the ruddy venture striding north. Appaloosas intermingle at the juncture of their footprints striking chords with theirs. Wild horses beautify the red earth like beating drums leaving clouds of dust in the wake.

Can you run with horses?

Your strength has brought you to this desert. This open range. This brazen land.

Devote yourself to God fully.

“If you have raced with men on foot, and they have wearied you,
    how will you compete with horses?
And if in a safe land you are so trusting,
    what will you do in the thicket of the Jordan?” Jeremiah 12:5

Once you have mastered the art of running with men, it is time to start running with horses.

Level up your stamina. Your capacity for ascension is high now. Be wise and astute when interacting with those close to you. As Jesus told his disciples, “So be as wise as snakes and as innocent as doves.” Matthew 10:16

“For even your brothers and the house of your father,
    even they have dealt treacherously with you;
    they are in full cry after you;
do not believe them,
    though they speak friendly words to you.” Jeremiah 12:6

God’s words are always true. His love is always present, both on the top of the mountain in the gleam of Zion’s luxury and in the valley of the shadow of death where grime and lack pervades. Hear the whispers in the wind of island breezes sending Holy Spirit’s affections. Inflections of His voice are heard in the frequency of His majesty glowing for all to see in the sunset and sunrise.

Run with God and never stop running on the wings of His love.

“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.” 1 Corinthians 9:24

Run with horses and then people cannot interfere with what God asked you to do. You bow to Him alone. Live for Him. Sacrifice for Him. Love Him. Choose Him over all of it.

“Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.” 1 Corinthians 9:25

Running with God grants you imperishable blessings. It gives you an indestructible purpose.

I want to run with God all the days of my life, along the seashore and the riverbanks where sparkling rays of sunlight stream flawlessly. I want to run with God all the years of my life, in greens pastures and still waters as He holds me in His arms as He propels us forward. I want to run with God for all the moments of eternity as He carries me up to Heaven with Him forever to run in the new meadows glowing neon with colors at higher resolution.

Running with God is the aim. He is the guide.

“So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air.” 1 Corinthians 9:26

Jesus’ call on your life keeps you running with purpose.

“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
    They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
    They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

Run with God where His Spirit takes you.

Run with God where His love awakens you.

Run with God because His passion indwells you.

Run with God because His perfection challenges you onto betterment, as He always has. He gets the credit for the advancement of His purposes in you.

“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians 1:6
