Extravagant sunsets. Rejuvenating oceans. Grandiose mountains. Death-defying Heavens. God gave His best when He created the universe.

Celestial supernovas glamorize the canvas of Heaven. Tropical rainforests highlight the sounds of the living. Natural springs heat rivers He made to nourish the earth. God gives His best in everything He does.

Every work of His hands is pristine. Every miracle from Heaven is on time. Every detail of life is flawless.

Arctic tundra polarizes the earth He made to spin on an axis revolving around His sovereignty. Desert earth soaks up the sun He made to illuminate the day with radiance. Galactic stars beam in the night to sparkle the earth with fluorescence. God thought of every possibility when He created matter from scratch. He will always give His best in every pursuit, every word, every act, every miracle, and every work of His hands.

“Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: “I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god.” Isaiah 44:6

God blesses His people because He is King. He has infinite desire to bless. He has infinite resources to bless.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” James 1:17

Jesus implores us to ask Him for what we need. He loves to give His best to His lover.

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7

Persistence unlocks closed doors.

Perseverance wins trust.

“For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” Matthew 7:8-11

When you pray for God to give to you, He always gives His best. Watch what He gives you… that is His best. His most lavish gift. His perfect answer for you. You do not have to question it. If it comes from God, it is the best and you feel it. You experience the bliss of receiving God’s best because it transcends everything else. God wants to give you what is best for you. He knows you. Trust Him to answer you as His beloved.

Ask God for what you need. God loves to bless us with lavish love, overflowing from His burning heart of love for you.

Love compels His giving. God gives His best because He is madly in love with you. He wants you to experience the best He has to offer.

God waits for us in Heaven to ask for what we need, so that we can live full lives. Abundant lives. Wait on His timing and see His best unfold. Rest in His love to be strengthened and prepared for that blessing in the meantime.

“And to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:19-21

Love fills us with the fullness of God, and as He satisfies us, He gives more than we imagine.

Ephesians says that God is “able to do far more” than we know. Expect God to do great miracles in your life. Think about His gigantic power. Dwell on His awe-inspiring love. Get your hopes up for God to do more. Trust God to act.

“Whoever trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf.” Proverbs 11:28

We flourish because of Jesus’ love and affirmation over us. We flourish because He gives us the best of what we need and desire. He tailors our desires to align with Him, and we want what He wants.

“You shall give to him freely, and your heart shall not be grudging when you give to him, because for this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you undertake.” Deuteronomy 15:10

When you know God blesses you, you do not fear loss. Everything you give to the Lord blesses you in return.

Jesus taught His people that every act of generosity is rewarded and seen by God. It is a byproduct of love and compassion. God loves to reward those who give because it is a worthy action to give.

“And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” Matthew 10:42

Don’t underestimate even the smallest act of kindness. All of it adds up. Every moment teaches us what it means to live with a heart like God’s: generous and extravagant.

God gives His best, and so, we must also give our best. We want to be people of Heaven, and Heaven gives the best.

God’s people gives their best because they reflect the image of God in their essence and actions.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” Colossians 3:23

Work with all your heart in everything you do. This pattern of living blesses you over and over again.

“But as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all earnestness, and in our love for you—see that you excel in this act of grace also.” 2 Corinthians 8:7

Grace sustains our love, because grace covers you when you make a mistake. Dreams are never lost because of a mistake. Keep your dreams. Keep your love. Keep your enthusiasm. Keep your fervor. Keep your excitement. Keep your heart open to all God can do. God’s grace is enough to carry you through every moment of your life and onward into the best He envisions for you. Your hope for God to move is important in being ready and open to receive God’s best.

Your hope in God’s power shows others how to trust Him for His best.

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in Heaven.” Matthew 5:16

God’s glory shines because He is the best God. The Only God. The One true living God. He gives His best to us. His love is the best.

His hands

in every way

His eyes

are the best

because His gaze

expresses rays

of Heaven’s sun

His heart

is the best

because His miracles

create the lyrical

symphony of time and space

God gives the best
