Everlasting Jewels

Everlasting gemstones birth from the hearth of Heaven’s glory. God’s power furnishes diamonds, rubies, sapphires. Opals, pearls, and jasper. He lavishes His jewels on His Beloved. Costly and decadent, His budget is limitless. His oasis is endless, as jewels overflow from the royal throne room of His palace. Every part of His Kingdom drips with beauty and gold. Every Beloved of His Kingdom shines like diamonds in the crown He holds dearly.

You are God’s royal beauty. You shine like jewels in Heaven’s Kingdom.

“On that day the Lord their God will save them, as the flock of His people; for like the jewels of a crown they shall shine on His land. For how great is His goodness, and how great his beauty! Grain shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the young women.” Zechariah 9:16-17

God’s people sparkle like jewels of everlasting luminescent. You radiate His luminescent light. You shine forever.

“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Matthew 5:14-16

God’s Kingdom is filled with His people who live forever in His holy dwelling of Heaven. You are gemstones that beautify His temple of spiritual rejuvenation and vitality. Your Spirit pleases the Lord because He beautifies you with HIs Spirit.

“And you are living stones that God is building into his spiritual temple. What’s more, you are His holy priests. Through the mediation of Jesus Christ, you offer spiritual sacrifices that please God.” 2 Peter 1:5

When your Spirit connects to God, you align with Him. And this alignment is permanent, keeping you in sync with God in Heaven. His glory shines on you. The holy city Jerusalem in New Heaven will shine with the beauty of many jewels by God’s precise design. God wants lavish luxury in His Heavens.

Not only does the physical place of Heaven glow with jewels but we His people shine like jewels. 1 Peter talks about us as the “living stones” that build God’s temple, and Revelation 21 describes the beauty of these stones in detail as Heaven’s blueprint for God’s temple is laid out. Thus, every aspect of Heaven is comprised of permanent, everlasting jewels.

“The wall was made of jasper, and the city was pure gold, as clear as glass. 19 The wall of the city was built on foundation stones inlaid with twelve precious stones: the first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were made of pearls—each gate from a single pearl! And the main street was pure gold, as clear as glass.” Revelation 21:18-21

God says you are a beautiful gemstone in His temple. You are a radiant jewel in His heritage. You are a royal diadem in His hand. Isaiah 62 says that we, the people of God, are the crown of jewels God holds close to Him.

“You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.” Isaiah 62:3

God’s heavenly jewels never stop shining. They never deteriorate. Because God maintains their strength and shine forever. You never stop shining because God is in you.

Jesus sees us as most valuable to His Kingdom. Priceless. Treasured. Adored. Cherished. He takes care of His people because He is the Good Shepherd.

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. 30 But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:29-31

In Matthew 10, Jesus implores the crowds to trust God with their future and with their needs. He had already encouraged the people in Matthew 6 with the truth of God’s care, when He says if God takes care of nature and the animals with faithfulness, how much more will He take care of us?

“But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:30-33

God maintains what He Himself creates.

Hold onto God for dear life. For eternal life. For joyful life. For meaningful life. For enjoyable life. For prosperous life. For blessed life. Trust Jesus with your whole life. There is no other God more trustworthy than Him.

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24

Believe what you pray for. Hope for what you pray for. Trust God for what you pray for. He hears you and He loves to lavish His precious gems with beautiful gifts. He knows how and when to give the most beautiful gifts for us.

“For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” Romans 11:29

No one can rob you of God’s gift. Its’ yours. Forever. Sealed. Kept. Locked and guarded by angels who see to it that God’s plan for your life manifests. What God destines for you belongs to you.

The jewels of God’s Kingdom are everlasting. One day we will arrive in Heaven with Him to live forever where jewels never deteriorate, gold never needs shining, rainbows never need reforming, and flowers never need replanting. Every element of Heaven is perfect and stays perfect. You are God’s perfect royal jewel. You are going to live forever, shining His beauty.
