Psalm‬ ‭121:4-5‬

Your touch Oh Lord unlike the rest, it’s Heaven sent. Where angels’ best adorn the throne of light where Jesus is. It’s every second of the day. This hiding place… This secret space… where You and I dwell. I don’t want to be anywhere else but with You… my Jesus.

When Jesus beckons you close He cements a covenant.

Never fluctuant. Ever your sustenance brimming like succulent fruits He made to arouse the flame of His love in the greenhouse of a garden between you and Him. Nothing else needed. When your name is engrained in foundations of Heaven.

No one but You, Lord.

No one but You can hold Me close enough to hear my heart and lavish my soul like oceans impart a melody upon the seashore. It’s always been You. And it always will be.

He is the rest…
He is the epitome of ecstasy.
Other worldly. What no one can give me He gives me.

Let Him be your Love… 

Jesus come usher us into New Heaven & Earth. Your dwelling place propelling eternity’s rays where I look upon You everyday face to face. Awake and in love with You. My heart longs for you… 

Jesus wants you to be His forever…

Covenants mean something to Jesus.

Covenants are binding. Meant to tether itself into your essence. Be cautious what you covenant to. Exodus 23:32 says, “You shall make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.”

When you make a covenant with something that denies the Lordship of Jesus Christ, it affects you. It opens the door to evil. We cannot commit to or connect with anything that denies Jesus Christ as Messiah. 

We only flourish as God’s holy beloved when we seek His face only, denying the flesh and living by the Spirit He gave to guide us in all truth and righteousness.

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” John 14:26

In the Old Testament, Israel is described as seeking other gods and marrying foreign women of false religions, which God abhored because it corrupted their connection with Him. Marriage with those outside of faith in Jesus corrupts the soul. Because it tainted their roots in only Yahweh. The gods of Baal infiltrated. Unholy beliefs and practices contaminated Israel’s purity. So God wipes out many of those nations and He always brings judgment upon Israel when they entertain what they were told not to.

“As soon as Gideon died, the people of Israel turned again and whored after the Baals and made Baal-berith their god.” Judges 8:33

“How can you say, ‘I am not unclean, I have not gone after the Baals’? Look at your way in the valley; know what you have done— a restless young camel running here and there,” Jeremiah 2:33

God gives freedom to His people.

And when freedom becomes a stumbling block, God will not overlook it. He enacts punishment and correction, to bring Israel back to Him.

When you seek after love from anything other than Jesus you are like running after the Baals. And it doesn’t satisfy. It only contaminates the heart. 

God created His people to have healthy, overflowing love with Him first in intimate relationship. Because He is a pure, holy being. If you connect with anything unholy, it taints you.

“Now therefore fear the Lord and serve Him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:14-15

God says, don’t commit to what you can’t covenant with.
You deserve better.
You deserve covenant lavish love with the King.

Jesus Christ. 

“All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep His covenant and his testimonies.” Psalm 25:10

Commit to Jesus & He makes a covenant with you on the spot. Unshaken. Carried in the incubator of love’s metamorphosis.

“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.” Deuteronomy 7:9

God’s covenant to you will never be taken lightly by Him.

God never falls asleep on His covenant.

“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said & will He not do it? Or has He spoken & will He not make it good?”
Numbers 23:19

God’s words are worth trusting and believing in every utterance. Every expression. Every dictation from His mouth is true and reliable. He will not break His covenant nor abandon you. He lives to love you, adore you, form you, fashion you, challenge you, enhance you, and so much more. We grow from His presence in our lives.

God is greater than every other shadow of darkness in the world. His covenant is stronger. His strength is all surpassing and He will be faithful to you no matter what. Present and close to you if you want Him to be.

One day we will awake with God in the holy place… the New Jerusalem.

When Jesus returns, all the godlessness and idols who denied him will see Him. Giving Him glory for He is worthy of it. “This is an oracle concerning Egypt: Behold, the LORD rides on a swift cloud; He is coming to Egypt. The idols of Egypt will tremble before Him, and the hearts of the Egyptians will melt within them.” Isaiah 19:1

Jesus is coming back for us… and I can feel it so strongly in my spirit that He’s closer than ever. I feel Him all around me and see so much unfolding that scripture told us would take place. Be ready… for He will come soon.

“For the Son of Man will come in His Father’s glory with His angels, and then He will repay each one according to what he has done.” Matthew 16:27

“For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man… Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” Matthew 24:27,44

My soul climbs with anticipation when I think about the moment Jesus returns… I can’t wait for Him to come back. Jesus descend upon us and carry us up with you to where we were created to adorn your temple.

He is the best thing that exists and the love my heart desires. He is the reason for the world’s rotation and the only rationale for the stars glimmering in the northern sky wrapping around the world that goes to sleep at night, to awaken in beauty again. I am ready for the day when there will be no more night… only light… flowing from the face of One who’s glowing bright and radiant at the sight. Our Jesus forever lifted high.

Jesus’ love is a higher threshold of love than you’ve ever experienced. 

His love is always awake for you…
Rest in Him.
