a supernova
soaring
in the sky
en route
to find me
waiting
for You
in the chroma
of the deep end
of the ocean arc’s aroma

glowing

collides into
a cosmic wonder
surging through

of navy blue
with shooting stars
the angels drew
in Zion’s hues
still bursting
by the sun

they burst into our love
every star

and every psalm
entreats to herald glory’s song
of lovers dawning Jesus’ awe

stars shine for Him

so shine for Him
like He made you brightly
alive in Him

you’re a star

of God

stars shine
like they always do
undefeated
glossy seasoned
spicy sweetened
fire breathing

stars don’t feel shame
they’re too high
above the sky
to feel an ounce of dismay
stars don’t kill rays
they’re too bright
upon the heights
to send a speck of coal grey
they were made
to scintillate
illuminate
invigorate

remember you manifest light

you’re a star
who generates
illustrious life
because The King
made you to shine
