God desires you to be alive with pure light. Halloween is a day that celebrates dark spirits. May it not be so with you. Choose to celebrate Jesus Christ.

“That you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭15‬ ‭

You are God’s light. Remember who you are. We want to become more like Christ. We exist in a spiritual world where there are spiritual implications for everything we align ourselves with.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭

“Love does not rejoice in evil but rejoices at the truth.” 1 Corinthians 13:6

Love seeks to rejoice in all things pure and true. Jesus’ truth invites the world into an eternally passionate love story. His pleasure is better than the world’s. His promises are better than the world’s.

“For you are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; no evil dwells with you.” Psalm 5:4

Jesus came to redeem us into a new birth by the blood of His sacrifice. Keep your heart focused on Him and you will experience more joy. 

When we think about how Jesus saved us, we cannot help but to crave His ways over the world’s.

“Remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility.” Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭

Jesus Christ is still King today and everyday.
