I love Your Word, God. Love letters, they are, like rose petals falling from the Heavenly clouds. God has a word for you like refreshment from the living waters. He is living water, and He gave you His Word for you to receive it. Living, breathing, flying words of God speak to the depths of us. The core of us. The heart of us. The truth of us. Align with the Word of God and experience His presence.

God’s Word unveils who He is and what He stands for. What is to come and who we live for. We live for Jesus, the King of all creation, and the Bible shines as our gift to connect with Him, heart and soul.

There is no alternative for the the Word of God. We cannot exchange it for another book of truth nor abandon it for another guide. His Word is our first truth. His Word shows His standards. His Word cultivates an intimate relationship with Him, our God, whereby we read the very words that came from Him.

Read God’s Word and you connect with God on deeper levels.

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16

The Word of God convicts the heart to awaken the heart and elevate the heart over earth, into Heaven where we align with the Kingdom of God. If we deny God’s Word because we don’t want to be challenged, we only forfeit our own destiny.

God’s Word is our standard of living.

Every Word in the Bible is inspired by God.

Every Word in the Bible profits you.

The Word of God completes you. You are whole, standing strong, ever resilient because of the Word of God impacting everything you do. God’s Word equips you for every moment of life. God’s Word makes you immortal.

“As for God, His way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; He shields all who take refuge in Him.” Psalm 18:30

Furthermore, the Word promises rest for those who follow it. When you live with the Bible in mind, influencing everything you do, it produces supernatural rest because the Bible works to answer everything that comes into your life. We need the Bible. The Bible enhances your strength, so you are unstoppable.

 “Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: “So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest,’” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.” Hebrew 4:1-4

Paul says that anyone who follows Jesus will enter into rest. The only ones that God says will not enter rest are the ones who disobey the Word of God.

“Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience.” Hebrew 4:6

Rest comes to the one who follows God’s instructions.

Disobedience takes away our rest and peace. When we do what the Word teaches, we find that our hearts receive what we have been needing all along. The ones “whom it was first preached” to and did not enter into rest are the Jewish people who rejected the gospel of Jesus as Savior. Because of this, they went on striving, fighing and toiling to undo the gospel message being spread but they could not stop it. God cannot be stopped. Jesus cannot be stopped. The gospel cannot be stopped. We waste time toiling when we go against what God said.

“Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.” Hebrew 4:11

Paul exhorts us to enter the rest God promised us.

Rest is your promise.

Rest is your gift.

Rest is your inheritance.

Rest comes from the God who made us to dwell in peace with Him for eternal life. We gain this rest when we read about Him in the scriptures. It elevates our mindsets and worldviews to a higher way of living where the world cannot stress us out nor worry us. Thus, we have rest. Rest no matter what we face. The Word of God is your answer to lifting off the heavy burdens.

Challenge yourself to read the Bible. Challenge yourself to do what it says.

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

The Word of God is a living and breathing book. Thus, it carries power to speak to you right now.

The Bible tells you what you need to know. The Bible tells you what you don’t know and want to know. It’s like hidden treasure you discover in a field and it changes your whole life because you found what you didn’t know existed. Now, you have answers for everything. You have wisdom for every dilemma. You have truth for every lie the world throws at you. This is what God’s wants us to have. He wants you to equipped with the knowledge you need to live life. Everything you have questions about in real life is found in the Bible. It is a living book of guidance, truth, answers, human stories, prophesies. God’s own Word.

“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32

Jesus tells his disciples that the truth is their liberation. Think about how lies affect you. Your mind carries you off into thought after thought. Then your actions carry you into doing things that you thought you would never do. All because it started with one lie. We need to know the truth in order to live free. Freedom comes from knowing the truth.

Can you handle the truth?

Listen to the truth and apply it to your life, your mind, your thoughts. Anytime you think a thought that leads you down a negative path, you use the Bible to counterattack those lies. Then you are set free, because the truth wins every time.

“Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Matthew 4:4

Jesus wants us to LIVE on His words. TASTE of His words. FEAST on His words. CHEW on His words. ENJOY His words.

Jesus says physical food is not enough. MORE NOURISHMENT is needed: God’s food… God’s words. God’s truth. The only truth.

The truth is your weapon against the devil’s schemes.

“For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:4

Counter the argument with truth.

Counter the discouragement with truth.

Counter the lie with truth.

God’s Word is truth! The Word of God has something to say about every evil topic that the devil will try to throw your way. It has something to say about all of the discouraging thoughts. It is God’s redirecting of the Holy Spirit to remind you what Jesus said (John 14:26,15:26) so that you can defeat all of the lies that have been contaminating your mind. You are powerful over all of it! Beloved, you are God’s treasured possession and He wants you to be free in how you think and live, so He gives you His Word to combat every bad word that comes into your space.

“Jesus declared, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’” Matthew 22:37

Loving God means loving His Word. His Word is your liberation.❤️
