Part 5
God meets you when you wrestle with Him face to face. Set your hope in Him.
Jacob found his strength from God when He wrestled with God face to face in Genesis 32.
It’s time to face God. He can handle you. He wants you to wrestle over everything you don’t understand until you prevail and you see He is the One you need.
“And Jacob was left alone. And a man wrestled with him until the breaking of the day.” Genesis 32:24
Jacob was always prophesied to prevail and be blessed. But He needed to realize this blessing and favor could only come from God alone.
“Then he said, “Let me go, for the day has broken.” But Jacob said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”
Genesis 32:26
God wants you to tell Him you’re ready for what He has for you. He needs to hear you fight for your own identity and acknowledge that you receive who you are in His eyes.
“Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.” Genesis 32:28
God is the One who confirms you and anoints you.
