Make Room For New

New memories. New adventures. New thoughts. New discoveries. God creates new plans for you. Plans that He made for you before you were reborn into new life with Him. Now the future awaits you. Jesus came to give you a new life. A new family. A new heritage. A new future.

The past disintegrates in the light of Jesus’ salvation.

Today Jesus invites you into deeper love with Him. Say yes to Him for eternity.

“But according to His promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.” 2 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬ ‭

Whose promise do you live by? Live by Jesus’ promise! He promised you eternal life and righteousness in the Heavens. His promises uphold.

Jesus creates new beauty for you and Him. He wants to share His life with you forever in the new place He is building for you.

“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind.” Isaiah‬ ‭65‬:‭17‬ ‭

God wants new experiences with you. He does not need to remember the past nor bring you into a relationship where you dwell on the past. Nothing but newness typifies a relationship with Jesus. His mind only wants to think about the present. You are His present. You are His future. God’s people are God’s design for infinite time.

“But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem to be a joy, and her people to be a gladness.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭65‬:‭18

Gladness marks the face of God’s people.

Gladness marks the face of God’s beloved.

Gladness illuminates face of God’s holy city.

Continual rejoicing is found within the walls of Heaven where darkness cannot seep in and evil cannot break in. Treasures of heavenly riches adorn the space of Heaven’s garden, just as Jesus taught in Matthew 6.

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭19‬-‭21‬ ‭

The devil cannot steal your treasures laid up in Heaven.

The devil cannot steal your inheritance.

The devil cannot steal your reign.

The devil cannot steal your crown.

The devil cannot steal your love.

Heaven defends you from all harm so nobody can take away your confidence and treasure in the Lord. Being with Jesus is a treasure. Spending time with Him is a priceless gift in which we experince quality time with God, our King and Savior. God wants to spend time with you in the New Heavens He made for you. And when God makes a place, He makes it extravagant.

Every element of Heaven’s atmosphere is a treasure. Every mineral of its land is a treasure. Every jewel in its infrastructure is a treasure. A treasure like no other.

Only perfect good will be our dwelling place with God. But there’s a greater treasure even than the treasures of jewels and flowers and beauty of Heaven. It’s Jesus. 💗

Jesus shines as our highest treasure.

Let go of the treasures that got away. Let go of what you don’t need any longer. God will bless you with what you have now and with what He is soon to give you.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6

You are not afraid to let go of the past when you know the future has even more power of God to be manifested in your life. The past is not the best part of your life. The future is. Jesus is in your future. You are the one who God gives power to in order to make your life come to life through Jesus’ power within you to catapult you forward. Do you see the power you have? God chose to make you capable and gifted to make decisions that propel your life forward. Only you can choose Jesus. Only you can say yes to what He has for you. Rejoice and be glad! Anticipate greater days because of Jesus.

“I will rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in my people; no more shall be heard in it the sound of weeping and the cry of distress. No more shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the young man shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed. They shall build houses and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭65‬:‭19‬-‭21‬ ‭

God is building a dwelling place for that supercedes every lavish oasis you have dwelt in.

Everything you worked for, you will eat of.

“They shall plant their vineyards and eat their fruit,” God says through the prophet Isaiah. This is the redemptive promise of God after He has already had to lay out the consequences of sin. But God decides to still give mercy to His people and give them the chance to start again. God wants Israel to flourish. He wants them to be successful and healthy. He wants them to eat of what they planted and worked for. He does for you too.

God saw what you worked for, strived for, fought for, interceded for. He contends for you now as He makes new plans for you so you can eat of the harvest you labored for.

You will eat of your harvest.

You will receive the reward of your suffering.

You will enjoy the love you sacrificed as He gives His in greater measure.

You have a new treasure chest God is making for you so empty out the old and make room for the new. New memories are soon to fill your mind, your days, your photo albums, your stories, your families, as you lift your eyes to Jesus. He promises to do a new thing now. It’s up to you to perceive it and believe it.

“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19
