Handle It With Grace

Ivy twirls up the oak trees blossoming in the sun. Springtime waters the earth faithfully, engendering its vegetation to life. Tulips sway in the sunshining day as rain grazes its petals. The earth awakens with grace. Dances with grace. Sings with grace. Shines with grace. Effortlessly. Delicately. Beautifully. Wonderfully. Just like Jesus’ eyes of love all the way to the cross. He gave His life faithfully, like a lone flower amidst an ashen ground. “Forgive them, they know not what they do,” He said. Grace covers the earth at the moment Jesus last breath exhales from His butchered body… a body born to die the death we would have died without Him stepping in first.

“And when they came to the place that is called The Skull, there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on his right and one on his left. And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Luke 23:33-34

“And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” 43 And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:42-43

The criminal on the cross next to Jesus could do nothing to save himself in this moment. His hands were tied and his body bound. No amount of good works could save him now. And it never could. Only Jesus could grant the man what he truly needed… grace. Jesus gave him that. Grace from Jesus is what he needed.

Jesus’ grace is the only hope for humanity.

Grace revitalizes the earth. Grace reignites the heart to live again, breathe again, love again, see again. Live gracefully.

“For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.” Romans 6:14

Get under grace. Love by grace. Speak with grace. Heal through grace. The grace of Jesus heals the world of sin, so there is no condemnation for those who receive Jesus’ grace and exalt Him as Lord.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8

God’s gift to you is salvation. It’s His gift. By grace. Through faith. We cannot save ourselves nor do anything to make ourselves right before God in our own efforts. It’s only our belief in Jesus as Lord and submission to Him as King that we are saved. Jesus saves.

Grace covers you so that God sees you pure like Jesus. Spotless like Jesus. Blameless like Jesus. Holy like Jesus. Grace is the most extravagant gift God could give a broken humanity who had no ability to commune with Him on thir own. So He made it possible for them to come close to Him despite what humanity had done. God does not keep anyone away from Him or His Son. God welcomes every single person that would come to Him.

Handle your situations with grace, like Jesus.

Handle your battles with grace.

Handle your conflicts with grace.

“But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Christ chose to die for us when we were not in a position of favor. We were in the position of being condemned and sentenced to death for living by sin. We needed a Savior. So Christ died for us. This is love… love that lays down its life for the one it loves. Jesus would let nothing separate Him from His beloved. The devil could taunt Him and threaten all he wanted, but Jesus was determined to win His beloved and be with us forever. Jesus does everything it takes to make us His. He did not take no for an answer.

Now you have an answer to give Jesus if you have not already given your life to Him. Give Him your heart… your life… your all… your future. Jesus will give you grace… mercy… favor… blessing… love… and eternal life. There is no better exchange than that. Jesus is our Redeemer and worth celebrating forever as the Savior of our souls. Thank you Jesus for your love for us. May this Easter bring you highest glory and forever unto infinity.
