Roused Eyes

Eternity scintillates in God’s eyes. Infinity looms in God’s eyes. Forever dazzles in God’s eyes of love for His Bride. Look in His eyes… God’s eyes pull you into the portal of seeing Heaven. God’s eyes grip you with fascination of angelic hosts. God’s eyes reel you into the depths of the Spirit where His voice speaks words only meant for you and Him.

Behold the eyes of your King Jesus. Pure eyes. Ferocious eyes. Passionate eyes. Give Him your eyes. You will never want to look away once He has yours. Love pours through His eyes.

His beauty magnetizes your heart, enchants your heart, invigorates your heart. We need His gaze streaming into us from the gateway of Zion.

“And I saw Heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself.” Revelation 19:11-12

God’s eyes flame with passion for the onset of eternity.

God beams with elation over the imminence of eternity.

We see eternity roused in Jesus’ eyes. Fire sparks. Flame rise. Smoke blasts. Heaven chants with “holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come!”

“And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of mighty ocean waves or the rolling of loud thunder. It was like the sound of many harpists playing together.” Revelation 14:2

Trumpets blare. Stars collide. Oceans spill. The earth erupts as New Heaven ensues. God ensures His people inhabit New Heaven with Him, as Jesus comes back for His Bride to marry her in grandiose extravagance.

God initiates eternity’s beginning and God sustains eternity’s prolonging. It will never end. Love with Jesus lasts forever and ever.

“I will exalt You, my God the King; I will praise Your name for ever and ever.” Psalm 145:1

We will continually adore King Jesus forever and ever, because our hearts compel us. His love is that attractive. His love is that awe-inspiring.

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author of eternity. In His eyes are the pools of eternal living water.

You see eternal life when you look in Jesus’ eyes.

You find favor when you behold His majesty.

“But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.” Genesis 6:8

You possess favor because of God’s eyes on you. His eyes delight in those who love Him. He eyes look at you with love because His favor is on you.

Noah gazed upon God instead of gazing upon the reality of the surrounding conditions. He gazed on the promise and beauty of God’s presence in His surroundings, knowing that God would do what He said He would do right there in His midst. So, he found favor in God’s eyes. Noah did not trust in the elements nor in the visible proof of what he saw, but he waited upon the Lord to do exactly what He said. Noah planned for what God said and enthusiastically executed the next steps so that God could rain down like He said He would. Noah planned by building what God instructed.

“But I will establish my covenant with you, and you shall come into the ark, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.” Genesis 6:18

God envisions eternal life for you and I. He desires to give everyone eternal life and this only comes from the propitiation of sins, from Jesus Christ, who gave His sinless life as a sacrifice for mankind’s sins. Apart from Jesus, there is no eternal life but only death. With Jesus, there is infinite life and love held in His arms.

God establishes His covenant with those who love Him and follow Him.

God’s favor rests on Noah because He loved the Lord and looked to Him for life.

“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.” John 3:36

Jesus removes His wrath from the ones who believe in Him for eternal life. He guards you and protects you from death, and you will live forever because He holds you safe in His care. His eyes will forever look on you with love and admiration. Nothing you can do will ever bring wrath or devastation to you because God already committed to you in eternal life to give you eternal love.

Jesus’ eyes awakens eternity. He detonates the genesis of a perfect oasis to plant and bloom from His gracious hands of brilliance.
