Hydration nourishes the body from the God of all creation. His water is pure water because He knows what it is. He knows how He made it Do you know what you are drinking? What you are digesting? Drink God’s water and you never have to second guess its goodness.

God’s water is living water.

God’s well is an undefiled well.

God’s heart is a perfect heart of love, wisdom, guidance, nourishment, and replenishment for you. At every stage of your life, His water works.

“You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water.” Psalm 63:1

Here, the psalmist, David, affirms he needs something more than earth can offer. The land has no water, and yet the psalmist does not go to God to ask for water. The psalmist goes to God to ask for more of God.

Go to God for what you need and you get God, the answer to all of what you lack. God is the answer to every need. God is the answer to every hope. God’s well contains above and beyond all we need here in this life.

God gives you water where there is no water.

God gives you love where there is no love.

God gives you hope where there is no hope.

God gives you life where there is no life.

God is the abundant lavisher of every good delight in life!

“As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart.” Proverbs 27:19

Honesty of heart delights God. Honesty of heart stems from drinking of God’s well, where His nourishment gives you freedom to be vulnerable in His presence.

Vibrancy of life delights God’s heart. Vibrancy of life overflows from drinking of God’s well, where His vitality gives you energy to be joyful in HIs presence.

Devotion to Jesus delights God’s heart. Devotion to Jesus results from drinking of God’s well, where His love gives you a desire to be near Him every second in His presence.

God’s well is the water to our souls. There is no other water but His water when it comes to spiritual life. Our spiritual lives need nourishment from Jesus and only Jesus.

When you receive nourishment from Jesus, He refreshes your heart daily so that you can bless others with the love of God oozing out of your spirit.

“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” Proverbs 11:25

God takes care of you when you trust in Him for living water, over every other source that could try to fill you. God speaks to you to tell you where His water is and directs you to His wells, so that you do not get tied up at wrong wells.

You do not worry and you do not fear anything when you drink from God’s well. You thrive and produce fruit from His eternal life connected to you. The prophet Jeremiah spoke about this when he prophesied about the results of trusting in Yahweh in all things…

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8

Drink God’s well. No matter what comes your way. Then you do not fear anything and you live with compassion and care for the people around you.

“Whoever believes in Me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” John 7:38

You become a well when you let Jesus live in you.

No only does God refresh you, but you refresh others because God overflows His living water in you, which is a blessing of epic proportions that we get the honor of encouraging others.

I want to encourage you, beloved, you do not have to struggle over and over with the God of living water living inside of you. You have living water that overcomes every spirit of death, discouragement, depression, oppression, fear, anxiety, and regret from your life! Choose to drink His living water and keep out other toxins that impede your spiritual health. Truths outside of the Bible are not helpful, but they are harmful. We only want what Jesus’ Word has to say. Guidance that derives its substance from anything apart from Jesus is malnourishing! It stunts growth and gets in the way of what God is growing in you. Do not allow toxins of the world’s ways in your life!

Jesus’ living water is the only way to life healthfully and vibrantly.

Let Your truth be our guides, Jesus. We want Your love.

“But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!”
