Part 1 

Jesus is strong enough to love you tenderly. He picks you up in His strong arms and embraces you with mercy.

God wants to be loved for His tenderness!

“He will tend His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs in His arms; He will carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭11‬ ‭

Jesus’ mercy as a leader and King marks everything He does.

Jesus leads His people back to Him. God woos His people toward Him in repentance.

“I want you to understand this mystery, dear brothers and sisters, so that you will not feel proud. Some of the people of Israel have hard hearts, but this will last only until the full number of Gentiles comes to Christ.” Romans‬ ‭11‬:‭25‬ ‭

God is beckoning His people to acknowledge Jesus as King.

“The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning.” Lamentations‬ ‭3‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭

God wants to be loved for His merciful heart just as much as His powerful light. His tender heart captivates
