Part 7 

God’s mercy compels Him to protect your heart. You can tell Him anything in vulnerability and He will take care of those secrets with discretion and loyalty.

It is important for those with tender hearts to be careful not to open our hearts to attacks.

In Judges 16, Samuel falls in love with Delilah. His tender heart puts him in a vulnerable situation where he is tempted to give away a secret.

“Delilah lulled Samson to sleep with his head in her lap, and then she called in a man to shave off the seven locks of his hair. In this way she began to bring him down, and his strength left him.”

Guard your heart and let Jesus know all your secrets. He is trustworthy. His mercy covers you, and so He values everything you have to share with Him.
