Jesus is in love with you. He always has been. He always will be. Rainforests serenade the moon with the melody He gave to sing for you. Arctic blizzards dazzle the earth with beauty He formed to shimmer for you. Sunlight illuminates the day with incandescent light He ignites to shine for you. Creation was made for you to enjoy and explore by His love. Jesus is in love with you.
Jesus’ love completes us. His love fulfills the purpose of our existence.
“God showed how much He loved us by sending His one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” 1 John 4:9-10
Real love. Holy, pure, tangible, proven, real love. The love of God fiercely and willingly sacrifices His life for love. That’s real love.
Jesus’ love defeats the devil. Jesus’ love obliterates addiction. Jesus’ love defies impossibilities. Jesus’ love restores, heals, uplifts, empowers, and revitalizes.
“A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you also must love one another.” John 13:34
Jesus’ love is the example for us to follow.
Because Jesus’ love completes us, love for others manifests as a byproduct. Love overflows in your heart when you allow Jesus to be King. He teaches us how to love with a heart like His. His love never stops pouring.
“That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9
more than we know
more than we fathom
God’s heart of passion
outstretches the canyons
and galaxies high
Jesus’ pure love
is our reason for life
So much more awaits the one whose heart is set on God. We have not even fully imagined all God has imagined and created for us. Eternal bliss and ecstasy is our destiny.
“But it was to us that God revealed these things by His Spirit. For His Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.” 1 Corinthians 2:10
God has secrets He will tell you when He wants to. From the beginning of the holy scriptures, God has been prophesying future events that would happen surrounding the Messiah that eventually came true and the Holy Spirit was revealing this to His people. Therefore, Jesus can speak to us by the Holy Spirit to tell us anything and when we still do not know what is going to unfold, we know that God has more prepared that we still have not seen yet.
“Now we see but a dim reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.” 1 Corinthians 13:12
One day we will see God fully. We will know everything fully, there in Heaven with the Lord where there are no more secrets about eternity. God will make it known. He wants to make it known. Yet, even now, we are fully known by the King who loves us. There is nothing hidden between us and God. He knows it all.
Jesus’ love is based on loving us in totality. He does not just love certain parts of us. He loves all of us. He chooses all of us, and makes us like Himself. This is love… that Jesus would give us His own glory and light.
“Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when He appears we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is.” 1 John 3:2
Instantaneously, we will be like Him. What an unfathomable thought to conceptualize how we could be like Jesus, but we will be. His Word says it.
You are loved by the Lord who saved you into His eternal dwelling place if you want to be His. Jesus’ love is highest love.
Jesus’ love
love that
knows me
sees me
hears me
reads me
heart and soul
Jesus’ love is
Heaven’s gold
“When you go through deep waters,
I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty,
you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression,
you will not be burned up;
the flames will not consume you.
3 For I am the Lord, your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
I gave Egypt as a ransom for your freedom;
I gave Ethiopia and Seba in your place.
4 Others were given in exchange for you.
I traded their lives for yours
because you are precious to Me.
You are honored, and I love you.”Isaiah 43:2-4
