The Polarity of Jesus

Light reflects off the ocean’s surface like shimmering diamonds under the Son. Bright glimmers of luminescent light enhance its radiation.

“I love the way the light warms my face,” she says.

“It suits you,” says the sailor with sturdy hands. “Never let the light leave you.”

“I don’t plan on it,” exclaims the glowing beauty as she basks in summer sun. “What do you plan on?”

“Plan on?” he inquires.

“Yes,” she reaffirms. “Plan on.”

“I plan to sail under the golden sun as long as the good Lord gives me life.”

The salty sea churns as the sailor heads for the ocean deep. Summer wind gifts the day with crispness. Orca whales pirouette underneath to the sonnet of its poetic ingenuity.

“I never knew the ocean could be so rejuvenating.” She lifts her eyes to the sky. “A thousand nights could be spent under the city lights of glitter, and I’d still die for this skyline.”

When God gives you a gift, notice what you have.

Thrust! The engine revs, and he bolts faster into the deep than before. The water splashes on the sides. Noise rattles. The boat speeds up.

“Slow down!” Yell the onlookers from the rear deck. “You’re going to sink us all!”

The sailor increases speed.

She has never experienced the kind of revelry the Pacific Ocean can grant. But he has. He knows what the ocean is capable of when he is in charge.

“Hold on, miss.” He gives her a wink.

With eyes wide into the ocean ahead, she looks at the far ends of the ocean she has never been to before. Laughter billows from the lady in white.

“I demand you stop this boat at once!” Shout the people from the deck.

He doesn’t stop.

Full throttle, he charges ahead into the turquoise abyss of ecstasy. To the place where Heaven seekers hope to see. To the place infamous pilgrims long to reach. He’s going there.

Are you willing to let Him take you there?

God wants to take you there.

Farther than you have ever gone before.

But you have to choose His way over your own way.

Jesus polarizes the crowd. Jesus polarizes the room. Jesus polarizes the earth to pick who it wants to be King.

“Which He will display at the proper time—He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords.” 1 Timothy 6:15

Jesus’ love polarizes your heart: to choose Him or not choose Him.

You never sink with Jesus as your God. He saves you. Rescues you. Heals you.

“Then a demon-possessed man, who was blind and couldn’t speak, was brought to Jesus. He healed the man so that he could both speak and see. The crowd was amazed and asked, “Could it be that Jesus is the Son of David, the Messiah?” But when the Pharisees heard about the miracle, they said, “No wonder he can cast out demons. He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons.” Matthew 12:22-24

Polarization: the phenomenon of a trigger provoking all reactors to find its side, either for or against. Plus or negative. Light polarizes through reflection when the light reflects off of a surface to send light rays into the space above it. More light results from this polarization. Jesus wants to polarize the earth. He wants His light to reflect. He wants us to transmit His light so all may see His glorious face.

Jesus wants to love you. Jesus can only love you with the fullness of His extravagant love when you let Him be God.

Do you want Jesus to be God?

If you do, then Jesus can be your King and love you like a King.

Jesus is God, no matter what. You must decide who you want to lead your life: the God who leads you into destiny with thrill and ecstasy. Or the devil who leads you into bondage and mediocre existence.

“Jesus knew their thoughts and replied, “Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A town or family splintered by feuding will fall apart. 26 And if Satan is casting out Satan, he is divided and fighting against himself. His own kingdom will not survive. 27 And if I am empowered by Satan, what about your own exorcists? They cast out demons, too, so they will condemn you for what you have said. 28 But if I am casting out demons by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God has arrived among you.” Matthew 12:25-28

Jesus is pure light. Pure goodness. Purely God.

There is no confusion about who Jesus is.

Jesus is the miracle worker.

Jesus is the healer.

Jesus is the liberator.

Jesus is the transformative power.

The only ones confused about Jesus in Matthew 12 are the ones who clearly see Him and refuse to honor Him: the Pharisees. Honor Jesus and you can know Him and His love.

When Jesus does a miracle, it polarizes the people so that some of them honor Him and some of them dishonor Him. But it does not change who Jesus is. Not everyone will love and accept Jesus. But He is still God regardless.

Many will oppose the truth, but you don’t have to oppose the truth, beloved. Let Jesus love you.

“Anyone who isn’t with me opposes Me, and anyone who isn’t working with Me is actually working against Me.” Matthew 12:30

Jesus steps on the scene and the earth polarizes. Those who want Jesus flock to Him. Those who do not want Jesus retreat and attack Him.

Jesus’ presence provokes the heart to reveal its true desires. The Holy Spirit prompts a soul to choose to Creator of its existence. Jesus chose you before you ever chose Him and He will always want you belong to Him, but He gives you a choice.

We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19

Work for Jesus because you love Him and you want to be as close to Him as possible.
