Turquoise petals. Delicate texture. Golden dust encircle its perimeter. Fuchsia diamonds twinkle at its center.

“What’s the name?” he asked with sincerity.

Questions loom in his mind as he waits for an answer.

Fluttering wings come close. Eyes draw his gaze. “Ask Jesus,” the angel directs with a voice like serenity. “He knows her name. Her true identity.”

“How?”

“Because He knows who He is. Thus, He knows who she is in her beautiful complexity. Let Him define her. Don’t be quick to make assumptions.”

“I’d never want to,” he beholds the flower with fixated fascination. “Until He told me first.”

“Good,” the angel rises, pleased. “You should know… She will not bloom for you unless you address her as He commands. The King does not allow His creations to grow in environments of condescension.”

He waits, speechless, as the waterfalls trickle through the springs, hot and cold. One foot to the right and the temperature changes. Vitamins and minerals saturate the liquid with fragrant healing. It’s the garden of Eden. The place where God dwells.

“Tell me what you call her, Lord…”

“See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.” 1 John 3:1

The ones who possess the capacity to know you deeply are the ones who have chosen to follow Jesus deeply. Without this connection of knowing Jesus, one’s identity cannot be fully seen or honored. Do not expect the world to know the treasures of your heart. They cannot accept Jesus’ lordship and thus, they cannot accept your light either. But those who see Jesus’ beauty see yours also.

“The nations shall see your righteousness,
    and all the kings your glory,
and you shall be called by a new name
    that the mouth of the Lord will give.” Isaiah 62:2

A name: the identity expressed to encapsulate one’s pure essence. God’s knows it. Only He can communicate it to you.

God’s mouth. It produces beauty. Light. Enchantment. Truth. Passion. Royalty. His name for you. It sounds like Heaven. Eternity. Blessing. Wonder. Hope.

Everyone will see the beauty of God’s Bride illuminating brighter than the noonday sun. You cannot escape its notice, for everything shines from its aura.

Your beauty radiates so bright that everyone sees the glory of God in you. Be confident in your scintillation. Be courageous in your radiation. Be elated in the invocation of God beckoning the world to be saved by Him through His bright lights. His beloved remains a treasure no one can diminish.
