Love Waves

Constellations sparkle high above the atmosphere. Supernovas blast flamboyantly. Planets circuit whimsically. Tsunami waves upsurge to interlace. The waters glaze God’s outer space. Ocean swells roar at the sound of His name.

“Thus says the Lord, who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord of hosts is His Name.” Jeremiah 31:35

The Lord makes the ocean combust and swirl. Thunder and sway. Sizzle and refresh.

“And God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” And God made the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. And it was so.” Genesis 1:6-7

Heaven separates oasis from oasis. Waters split apart at God’s command to create a dwelling place for Heaven. Jesus created this blueprint for the universe at the beginning.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.” John 1:1-2

Jesus is the Word of God. Every word from Him creates life and chain reactions of life.

“And God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so.” Genesis 1:11

Speak with power, Jesus, as Your voice creates Heaven and Earth from scratch. Your hands makes waves in outer space. Your eyes flare light into the universe where souls await Your love. His love finds them. Love always finds them. Love always save them. Love always woos us back to His heart. Love echoes throughout the universe.

passionate love reigns

in outer space

where love’s embrace

adores the waves

of Heaven’s rain

Intimate love reigns

on Jesus’ earth

where hope’s rebirth

soaks in the worth

of Heaven’s gaze

Jesus gave everything for love, on the cross. His love cost more than we could fathom. We could never grasp the magnitude of His sacrifice and yet, we say Jesus we want more of You. His love takes us higher than we ever ascended before.

“This is why it says: “When He ascended on high, He led captives away, and gave gifts to men.” Ephesians 4:8

In the Greek text of this scripture, we understand the significance of this phrase “Ascended on high” when it speaks of Jesus’ resurrection. The word for ascended here in Ephesians 4:8 is “anabas”, which means “to go up, mount, spring up, or I rise.” There is a moment in time when Jesus springs up from the earth. He says “I rise.” Once Jesus rises, He is able to lead the captives away from their captivity. We need Jesus to rise, because its His rising that activates our liberation.

Jesus frees the captives as He ascends on high to eternal Heaven. His blessings are meant to free us not cage us.

God wants to dwell with His beloved forever. So, He saves His beloved from what holds them down and raises them to life forever in Heaven where the rivers spring up like champagne fountains and trees sprout fruit like pure gold.

Love resounds loudly in the earth where Jesus dwelt. Love echoes beautifully in the Heaven’s of God’s glory.

“My mouth is filled with your praise, and with your glory all the day.” Psalm 71:8
