Popping Bubbles – Part 2

Part 2

Jesus pops bubbles at the wedding of Cana. He turns water into wine, escalating the ecstasy for everyone present.

”On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus also was invited to the wedding with His disciples.“
‭‭John‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭2‬

Jesus cares about heightening His people’s joy. His miracles always prove His love. This wedding showcases His first miracle.

“When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.” And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.”
‭‭John‬ ‭2‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭

Even though Mary knew Jesus was capable of more only Jesus could decide when He was ready to act.

“Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. And he said to them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.” So they took it.“
‭‭John‬ ‭2‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭

Jesus loves you so much He breaks His protocol to love you extravagantly. God goes above and beyond.

“And said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine. But you have kept the good wine until now.” This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested His glory. And His disciples believed in Him.“ John‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭

Jesus decides to go above and beyond and start His ministry on day 3 of this wedding, when everyone thought the party was over.

Bubbles of love flow from Jesus.

“The words of a man’s mouth are deep waters; the fountain of wisdom is a bubbling brook.” Proverbs 18:4
