Revolve Around Jesus

Spinning. Whirling. Twirling around the Lamb of God. Dancing. Leaping. Ascending with the Lord of lords who reigns as King for eternity. Infinity beckons His command.

Planets revolve around His shine, scintillating the stars and neon lights. Light exists to beam from the throne of God’s radiance. Seraphim circle over His presence, Heaven revolves around His aura. The universe stays in motion because He upholds it.

Revolve around Him. The Son of God. Creation knows He is worthy of this posture. Center your life around Him and experience the truest bliss. Life revolves around Jesus.

“And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.” Revelation 22:5

God lights up Heaven. We revolve around Him for our vitality. We center our lives around Him for all eternity. We live for Him exponentially. Passionately. Vibrantly. Beautifully expressing His radiance as He shines on us.

Eternal life exists because God sustains our immortality. Everything we are depends on Him.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
    because He has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty those who are oppressed,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Luke 4:18-19

Healing does not happen unless Jesus does it. Everything revolves around Him. Salvation revolves around Jesus. Spiritual growth revolves around Jesus. Life itself revolves around Jesus.

We revolve around Jesus.

“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1

God commands the universe. The universe does not command God.

Humanity revolves around the fact that Jesus is Lord. Nothing can undo this fact. He is King forever. He is the God of all Heaven and earth because He made all of Heaven and earth. God created a universe that would revolve around Him because He is in charge. If God were to stop being in charge, life would cease to exist. So, it is in our best interest for God to be in charge of the circle of life, since it was all His invention. God made us to live with Him forever in Heaven.

“And He said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent His angel to show His servants what must soon take place.” Revelation 22:6

God wants to be with us soon. He is not looking to delay. But He is patient to allow everyone on earth to be given the chance to choose Him as King.

“And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” and the elders fell down and worshiped.” Revelation 5:13-14

Knees hit the floor in the throne room of God’s glory. The Lamb of God incites worship. The Lamb of God provokes honor. The Lamb of God leaves everyone speechless.

Every living thing bows before Jesus in worship because He is God.

Revolve around the Son of God and find your life fall into place. There are many things to let our lives revolve around, and if we allow something else to take that supreme place then we miss out on the essential need for God’s love being met in our hearts. We need God to exist at our highest level. Without Him, there is no eternal life. Jesus is the only way to Heaven because humanity needs a Savior. Jesus is that Savior.

Revolve around the Savior, Jesus Christ.

Let your life be wrapped up in Him.

The more you give Jesus your time and focus, the better you feel and the more your life benefits. Jesus is our way to peace, contentment, satisfaction, love, blessing, hope, happiness, energy, healthiness, and every gift under the sun. We must go to Him first. We must let Him be the center. Nothing else will work as the center of our lives besides Jesus.

“As a deer pants for flowing streams,
so pants my soul for you, O God.
My soul thirsts for God,
    for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God?’ Psalm 42:1-2

The psalmist longs for God because God is the center of their lives. This psalm was written by the Sons of Korah, who would guard the place where God’s presence dwelt and sing songs to God. They knew that God was highest. They had a thirst for His presence. Thus, they desired to come and appear before Him.

Revolve around God and all you want is to be with Him where He is. The longing satisfies, because it fills the heart with expectation of its satisfaction being met by God.

Revolve around God and He satisfies you.
