Waterfalls pour into the tide pools swirling down the river. River rapids sweep across the forests as the springs flow into its tributaries. Estuaries wait for new water to meet the oceans.
“How long will this waterfall go for!?” Sophia asks intrigued by the phenomenon.
“Forever,” Kayla says.
Sophia turns her head to Kayla. “You mean the water never stops?”
“That’s right.” Kayla hikes towards the tide pool’s edge and dips her foot in the water. “Some things never die. This is one of God’s remarkable inventions.”
Sophia runs for the edge and dives in. “I want to get one of these at home!”
“You do have one. Inside of you. It’s a well that never runs dry. Living waters, God calls it.” Kayla lifts her eyes to the top of the waterfall where the sunlight rests on the edge like a disco ball of endless light. She smiles.
“I want that kind of water,” Sophia exclaims. She grins and dips her head under the turquoise water again to investigate the mossy floor laid with river stones and hidden gems. Kayla watches her, intrigued, and rests peacefully by the edge.
“So do I, Sophia. So do I.” Kayla whispers.
Whoosh!
Angel wings soar by her with bright light. “You have been chosen, dear one.”
“Who are you?”
“I am an angel of The Lord. He sent me to find you and tell you to make haste for the forest.”
“But the sun is setting?”
“Do not fear the trailhead, my dear. God will light your path,” the angel winks with serendipity. “God’s love for you is endless.”
Swoosh! The angel soars away in a flash.
God sends His love without limitations. Without reservations. Without hesitations. God finds you everywhere. God keeps His heart beating with love for you endlessly. Supernaturally. Heavenly.
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23:6
Nothing can rob you of God’s love.
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38
The devil wants to take from you. But he can’t. What you possess from God’s own hands cannot be stolen. God’s plan for you is permanent because He wrote it. He is the author of the universe and nothing can undo His power and sovereignty.
“For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1
God’s love is not a relationship of slavery and control, nor coercion, because He gives you the choice to choose Him in love. Stay away from relationships that try to kill you. Reject relationships that lack love.
“Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.” 1 John 4:8
God’s love exists perpetually in perpetuity. God’s best plan is to align you with those who will empower His divine design in your life and His divine destiny for you. He created men and women to complement one another for a reason, and anything that does not reveal love is demonic and evil.
When Jesus was passing through a town called Samaria, he met a woman at Jacob’s well. This woman needed water just as all humans do, but she perceived something about Jesus that told her what she really needed: Jesus Himself.
“Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give will become a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw water.” John 4:13-15
Jesus told her it was Him. In the flesh.
That day, she discovered God’s endless love as the resource she needed to live forever.
Jesus makes you live forever.
Jesus makes you live vibrantly.
Listen to Jesus’ words and Spirit.
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.” 1 John 4:1
Spirits against God strip you of love and try to steal your immortality. Spirits aligned with God take you higher.
“Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness.” Titus 2:2
Jesus Christ is the God of all the ages, who has existed from the beginning of time, and knows how to show perfect love to all people.
Endless love is God’s requirement.
The absence of faith, love and steadfastness is a red flag.
The beloved disciples who loved Jesus saw a vision of the resurrected Christ and our future destiny with Him.
“When I saw Him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. Write therefore the things that you have seen, those that are and those that are to take place after this.” Revelation 1:17-19
Jesus plans an eternal future with us because His love never ceases.
