Running, running, running. Jesus’ feet move ever running towards His lover. He does not run away. He runs towards the One He loves.
Kaleidoscopes of cosmic scopes burst flames enrobed in lighting strokes of outer space. Telescopes make stars elope to hidden boats that float beyond the sea of infinity’s blissful serenity. There He waits for her, discovers her, uncovers her to cloak her in His glorious love literature.
Jesus says
running towards her
spurs Me onward
churns Me forward
lures My love Words
spark from Heaven
touch the dead ends
make the endless roads to Me
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
run to Me
she says
run for Me
she says
run with fire
run with desire
run with love
run with a higher
love than any other lover
Jesus keeps running towards His lover. Detonate the sun to flame like melting plasma and volcanic magma. Peel back the dawn to unveil the stars on the other side of the moon. His light still shines in constant motion, like the Spirit of the notions Zion professes as the truth. It is the truth. Zion’s radiation. God’s illumination. Heaven’s scintillation. Pouring through the clouds, His eyes dazzle brightly, aroused, astonished by the love He finds on Earth.
run to them
the angels say
run to them
not far away
God leaps through the levels
of cloud and rose petals
to land on our soil
brings end to our toil
“And when He came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending on Him like a dove. 11 And a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.” Mark 1:10-11
Jesus saves the world.
“Then I saw Heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems, and He has a name written that no one knows but Himself.” Revelation 19:11-12
Jesus runs towards His people on Earth at the reckoning of earth’s end and New Heaven’s beginning. Armageddon is that final battle where God defeats every evil force with the warriors of angel armies.
Jesus is bold to run towards the ones who belong to Him. He ran to His people on earth when He was born to die for the sins of man and He runs to His people every single day of His life ministering, healing, teaching, restoring, saving and being God. God is always going to people where they are. He is the initiator. He is the pursuer.
“So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:6
God will never leave you alone. His presence is the keeper of your life forever and ever. You want God to be present at all times because He is the One who keeps you protected from harm and sustains your joy, love and spiritual vitality. He is essential and needed at all times.
“In this is love, not that we have loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” 1 John 4:10
Jesus came to a people who needed Him. He chose to love. Jesus loves to love.
Whippoorwills sing romance thrills of forest hills in midnight deals of butterflies exchanging light with fireflies. See the glow of the Creator’s throne presiding over the snowflakes falling all around like fiery raindrops kissing the leaves with serendipity.
God’s creation speaks of love, smells of love, tastes of love, feels like love when you see God all around making the universe light up. Keep your Spirit showing up for all to see the heightened grandeur of your rule.
Jesus runs to us everywhere we are.
“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.” 1 Chronicles 29:11
