Jesus is a King… of honor… of glory… the One we love and the One we entrust our lives to. 1 Peter 3:15 says, “In your hearts honor Christ as Lord.” 👑

Honor is His virtue…

flowing from His very heart.

We see God first bestowing honor to His creation in the beginning in the book of Genesis.

The fall of man enters as the serpent deceives Adam and Eve. What once was a pure connection with their God is tainted by sin and the awareness of it.

But God comes close…

Genesis 3:21 says God made “garments of skins” for them. He clothes them… I love His heart so much.

The devil attempted to strip away the honor God first bestowed upon Adam & Eve.

But God wasn’t about to let that happen.

He goes to restore what was taken.

He slays innocent blood to clothe them… an innocent animal… and soon His own body… to give us life flowing from His own glory.

It speaks of His warrior love.

Sacrificing His own life to protect His own. ♥️

Satan brought sin into the world because of His lack of honor for God and thus, He continues that pattern of dishonor by dishonoring Adam and Eve’s purity… tempting them to cave into His own deception and rebellion.

In Genesis 3:3 it says, “but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’”

This was God’s instruction.

Adam and Even knew what God said to them.

But Satan speaks against it and says the opposite. 

Satan says this in Genesis 3:4, “But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.”

Satan undermines God’s words. 

Satan is evil and completely opposed to everything God stands for.

The devil wants you to second guess God’s words… and dishonor Him as the King. When you hear satanic words like that, filter it out and remember what God said and who God is.

God is holy. And He is to be honored above all and followed no matter what.

Only God’s words are true.

For they flow from Jesus Christ, the Savior if the world and His Holy Spirit.

“By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses Jesus as the Christ who has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God, and this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and now is already in the world.”‭‭ 1 John‬ ‭4:2-3‬.

God gives honor to His people because He is pure… He is good… He gives honor because He wants to… it’s who He is.

“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor & honor.” Psalm‬ ‭84:11

Listen to the voice of the Lord for He is the voice of truth.

“Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor.” Proverbs 21:21

Hear what God calls you. ♥️ Captivating… strong… beautiful… worthy… empowered… deserving of every name He bestows upon you.

God sees you for your worth… a very worth He gave you… seated in heavenly places with Him.

God honors well because He’s perfect in His love.

He teaches us honor.

Real love compels you to give honor to those in your life. The two are symbiotic in nature. Love flows from honor & honor from love. “We love because he first loved us.” John 4:19

When you love someone you want them to be given highest honor & worth.

Where there is a lack of honor, there is a loss of fellowship. You cannot expect to have a close relationship with someone you consistently dishonor. Satan was thrown from Heaven because He did not want to honor God as King. God gives you a choice if you want to honor Him or not… love Him or not… know Him or not. And you have that choice with the people in your own life as well. 

Give honor & dignity to others just as Jesus does and you will see your relationships thrive. ♥️

Where there is an abundance of honor there is an abundance of intimacy.

Jesus is worthy of honor.

Jesus is our highest King and beautiful Lord.

You can’t help but to honor the Lord the more you know Him more… ✨ He’s the most captivating love there is and He’s worthy of being the King. I love that He’s my King… and I want Him to be forever.

Jesus said, “So that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.”
John‬ ‭5:23‬

When Adam and Eve found God looking back at them with love in the garden, they saw His heart in a new way… sin wouldn’t separate them from His love. Because He came to rescue them from the plots of the devil and He always does… He is our redeemer… He restored their purity so they could live in His holiness with Him forever.

Jesus offers you an invitation to say yes to Him and honor Him as your Lord.

It sets you free…

makes you holy…

gives you the life and love you we’re made for…

When you give your life to Him you’re awakened to the abundancy of passionate love with the Lord who adores you.

Come close to the God who made you… honor Him for He is God and there is no other… and experience who you were made to be as His beloved.

As we fall in love with Jesus we experience the love He lavishes. 🥰
